"LONDON--5 NOVEMBER, 2009--British Airways has just launched
a massive worldwide flight sale, with savings of up to 39%
on popular longhaul routes. Fares are valid for travel on
select dates between now and the end of March, 2010, but
tickets must be booked by 17 November.

Here are some of the most outstanding return fares from
London airports (including taxes, fees and charges):

-Heathrow to New York (JFK), was £361... now £299
-Heathrow to Boston (Logan Int'l), was £392... now £299
-Heathrow to Mumbai, was £389... now £329
-Heathrow to Rio de Janeiro (Int'l), was £431... now £389
-Heathrow to Mexico City (Juarez Int'l), was £659... now £399
-Gatwick to Barbados, was £571... now £399

The sale also covers European routes, with one-way fares
starting from £49.

Ive already booked my winter holiday to Rio.... Less that £400 for that time of year? Normally costs up to £1k!!!

New York £ 299 - brrr, freezing.
Sorry, but not everything any company markets as a "sale" is hot.

BTW: The premium cabin sale that has been on for a good week or so is also nowhere near as good as the one they had earlier in the year.

They usually tend to match BA's prices anyway (although I can't see that being much use with the current BA "offer").
Going on BA standards, the prices are good yet not competitive with other airlines (when you go through price comparision sites).

On one hand they offer 40% discount and this is what appeared in BBCs website today....

(I would stay away although I am planning on a visit to India sometimes soon)...... Not Voted.
Not much there from what I can see, they are wanting £ 4,395.80 for two return trips to Bangkok:w00t:, on exact same days with Eva I have paid £1200 all in.:thumbsup:
