After its establishment almost 70 years ago, British Eagle quickly became one of the brands best known for value and reliability.

Built for action the Hi tensile steel BMX frame provide strength and durability, the lightweight alloy rims and strong V type brakes combine for ultimate stopping power. BMX tyres and a BMX saddle create grip, speed and comfort. Handle bar & stem pads give the British Eagle Jackal a great street look

About time we had another bike deal to argue over - that chicken one isn't going to last forever (or maybe it is)!

Hot.

I just bought this for my 13 year old daughter. it is a lovely bike. I have a little boy who is nearly 8 & this bike would be far too big for him. hope this helps. shelley x

there was a program on bbc about how supermarket bikes are unsafe and poor quality.....and you have to build em your self.
just read the questions under the description, they only put solutions up if those problems actually exist.

EDIT: oh yeah......it was watchdog - WATCH BEFORE BUYING

Dont bother wasting your hard earned cash!
All the brake levers are plastic and as soon as the child falls off or drop the bike down they snap off, and you cant and dont wanna buy expensive replacements at more than the bike cost + no safety for the child!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The chain in very poor and will rust and snap within 2 months.
I learned the hard way with these bikes and i dont wanna see anybody else go down the same road;-)

Of course it's not the best quality bike at this astonishing price but 'plastic' levers generally can take a knock better than alloy ones and if the chain 'snapped' (never known that one) within two months take it back and demand a refund.

The most expensive bikes in the world won't take excessive abuse - in fact many of them are more fragile than these heavyweight clunkers.

It's £25 for goodness' sake and at that price it's good value - a pair of tyres alone would cost you that!

It has also been out of stock, became available again yesterday. If it has been on offer since half term, why didn't you post the deal?

Bought one of these for £50 for my nearly 7yr old at christmas because his older brother (9) wanted a £250 BMX and my younger one wanted a BMX too but I didn't want to pay another £250! Got to say that it is slightly big (although he manages ok) but it is better quality than the expensive one i bought which has been nothing but trouble. This does what it should and seems pretty resilient (having been dropped several times), it is better than the other an to be honest kids bikes don't last that long before they want replacments - I only wish i'd bought one for the elder one too and saved money and hassle!

don't think anyones mentioned - a further 53p off (wowser) via quidco!!!

Regrettably, the site says sold out.

Would really love one of these for my son, as I'm sure he'd love it. I think that as long as you know one end of a spanner from another, you will be fine with this. Regrettably, mechanics defeats a fair number of otherwise intelligent people.

As long as you check the bike out when you get it to ensure everything is straight and true, then you get what you pay for. A £25 bargain! If you're not happy, take it back. Asda has a good returns policy as long as you don't take the mick.

Unfortunately, with some folk you can't win - if they were being given away, some folks would moan because they couldn't get their cashback. :p

If they come back in, I'll be getting one. Only when I'm completely satisified that it's safe will I let my son go out on it, so I hope that placates the hum-buggas.

Checked site about 2 minutes ago and they are back in stock again, hope this helps

i got mine yesterday

easy enough to put together - dunno what people are complaining about regarding the instructions with some reviews I've read - they're just standard "generic" instructions.

bike went together fine.

no stunt pegs included.

nice enough for 30ish notes to see whether my daughter likes bmx's. if it lasts a yer or two i'll be happy enough and then she could move onto something a bit better/lighter/stronger/pinker.
