British Pork Shoulder Roast £2.00/kg @ Asda

Rollback from £4.45 per kg to £2.00 per kg which is really quite cheap. The joints I saw were vacuum packed in 1.5-2.0kg joints which is a nice size for making some pulled pork.

Should have said BBQ flavored pulled pork... BBQ sauce added after cooking. You could add a little liquid smoke if you wanted that rel BBQ feel without the outdoor BBQ lol.

Had this for my Sunday roast and it tasted lovely! Have some heat. :)

Still at £4.45/kg in my store (Eastleigh). Asked at customer services - they weren't very helpful and knew nothing about it!

No such deal at my local (slightly small) Asda. Cheapest pig derivative in a vacuum pack was £2.65 so no dice.

~£2.65/kg

I was in the Cardiff Bay Asda and they had it in one of their special offer chillers (the ones on the end of the aisles). And you can also get it online and delivered with the rest of your shopping over £25 for the delivery fee. So it is possible to get it, though I am surprised it's not across the board as it is a nationwide offer.

Gonna put mine on a timer overnight for a real long cook at the cheaper electricity rate :-)

Couldn't find it in Stafford either.

Tried another Southampton store today and again, no pork on offer! I know it's available online, but no good to those who don't want a whole load of Asda shopping. Very selected stores I think!
