Phoned up leave leave my plus net broadband which was £16.99 line rental and £19.99 for 76mb fibre.

I was going to leave to move to Vodafone £28/m all in.

Plus net match and even beat the deal. I'm now paying less than £25 a month for line renal and 76mb broadband.

Is there a minimum term on this? Don't really want to lock in with the current issues plusnet are having.

I have found them better than BT, Talktalk and Virgin, I'd be interested why you think they are dreadful? (I know they owned by BT, but they operate independently of it).

Been with them longer than six years, last two years have been painfull..

Cant see how this is a deal anyway, not everyone is going to get offered it, and good job leaving out the contract length, this might have went cold if you had included it..:D:D

I phoned up yesterday saying I could get my phone broadband and caller ID cheaper, So they rang me back with this deal Copper broadband unlimited as I only browse, email and a few Youtube videos, Anytime calls night or day and Caller ID for 99p a month as we paid line rental up front. Plus I really didn't want to move as I have had no problems with them.

Never had an issue... When i moved to fibre i did a Quidco deal with £150 cahsback and 6 months free.. so i was well pleased.. After 12 months i called to see about moving and they reduced my fibre down to £10 a month.. No complaints here...

Been with them since 2008 and yes every time I threaten to leave they give an incentive to stay. However, recently have had lots of problems with them. They have to use tactics to allow them to give discounts and that's when the trouble starts. In the last month had to make three calls just to rectify errors in pricing, it seems one department doesn't communicate enough with another. Also the download speeds are very erratic. When I first went onto fibre I was getting 35mbs download then checked a few months later and it was 12mbs! Complained went up to 36mbs checked yesterday was 15mbs - so my advice regularly check you broadband speeds! Have recommended them in past but wouldn't at the moment, shame they used to be very good but since BT has taken over seems to have deteriorated

When I moved in, could only get c1mbps. They tweaked the line, got an Openreach engineer out at no cost to me and now 5mbps+ which is great in the middle of nowhere. After nearly 2 years, they have been great and the service is more reliable than my water and electricity!

Might attract some heat if you add "fibre" to deal title.

I looked at the sse deal and after some researching and knowing people who have gone with them I have backed out & stuck with SKY. The sse deal is great on paper but they use similar traffic management as Plusnet at peak times (and yes they still throttle p2p despite saying they dont). On the overclockers forums some have reported higher pings at peak times and throughput is reduced to under 10mb when they get over 60mb.

I think plusnet still have some of the best deals but so far I'm not leaving sky as yet.

Random performance dipping right now:

Not sure if it's the cause of the random hitching I was getting in Rust.

Yep definitely having issues with Plusnet. Random speeds, and packetloss.
