Reviews suggest its not a great product. Cold from me.

I've been told by one of the Chinese resellers that this is wifi only. No Infra Red! Only broadlink pro has IR (triangular shaped device) gen before this one.

I have harmony hub in living room, not buying a second one at those prices. This is for bedroom. I've read you can use phone as bridge between these and echo....I'll have a go as I have a spare Xperia Tipo I'm using as a smart controller for Hue, Nest and Harmony.

Rm tasker also presents devices to the echo. This a dot and an old phone and it's like having a voice controlled harmony hub for little money and a bit of work.
