not arrived yet :( my hermes tracking information just says order placed
This bit of kit is amazing hope they get some more in stock, I want another one

Having listened to mine that arrived today, I have been really shocked! £19.99 was a total and complete bargain, room filling sound and I kid you not, better than my Sonos 1! I wish I had bought more for presents! One of the bargains of the year!

Not sure I should gloat (as it was my deal) but i agree, it's a cracking bit of kit for the money.

Mine arrived this morning and I have had both streaming radio and music playing through it and I am very impressed at the quality of sound. Build quality is good too with all controls 'feeling' good to use.

This will get a lot of use!

price now £9.99 for 4 shelf and £12.99 for 5 shelf.
yeah dont bother it wont be strong enough for much
I tried ordering some, it said free delivery as I had ordered 6, but when it got to PayPal payment it had added over £47 for delivery to the Isle of Wight. I think I will pass, I wonder if they will deliver to the ferry in Portsmouth free. oO
They are not too bad but make sure any load is evenly distributed as they can and will crack underneath if you put larger items towards the middle of the shelf. We used a load of these when refitting the kitchen and there were some broken shelves towards the end of the refit.
the other half has a few of these in the garage and they seem quite sturdy.

Its not the product it was 20 years ago. Or even 10 years ago.. Not sure how they changed it but they have.

Its not amazing stuff its utter rubbish. No professional would use this. If you have gone to the trouble of sanding your floor then do yourself a favour and use bona.
On the other hand at this price it might be fine to varnish other stuff with but not a floor
Don't bother, he's rubbish at flooring, but he's pretty good at wallpapering. Did our stairs a treat. ;)

My husband informs me it was the diamond hard floor varnish that we used. However this is still a brilliant price for Ronseal wood varnish!
Used this 20 years ago. No smell. Dried quick. Water based. Still looks like new.
I used this for my living room floor. All sanded and three coats following all the instructions. In less than a year it's was wearing through in the high traffic areas. Utterly useless. I'm now going to have to redo it all and Bona is the make that's been recommended to me.
Save your money.

Absolutely unbelievable prices there OP. Even wth delivery added. My dad is a plumber/heating engineer by trade and couldn't get one for anywhere near these prices, even at trade. Have some heat (literally) X)
I have normal small white radiators in my bathroom and downstairs WC and both are rusted badly. I will take a look on the site.

in my experience a radiator is a radiator you can't really go wrong it's all to do t the guy that fits it heat added and just bought one thank you been looking for one cheap for a while
If they are just Chrome and not Stainless Steel they are likely to rust,I made that mistake and I wasn't taking any chances so I ended up buying another that was Stainless Steel before we had out bathroom done.
I bought chrome ones from screwfix and they rusted quite quickly as well. I'm now buying some white ones off this site, at least you can re-spray them if they rust! :)
Why would you buy ones that are likely to rust again :|
I'd rather spend the money on getting decent ones,to me it's false economy.
The chrome ones rust, hopefully not the white painted ones. I have a painted one from screwfix as well, and it has never been a problem, just the chrome versions.

White rads can rust in Bathrooms though can't they due to the condensation, unless that's just here as we have a lot of condensation.

My previous ordinary White radiator had started to rust at the bottom.

not important if you have another properly specced heat source. many are towel warmers, these are not towel radiators. chrome and rusting is down to quality, Quinn are budget Chinese I think, but Don't spend thirty quid and think it's going to be great, perfect as a cheap refurbished sell on though.
Chinese copies I reckon.....
Real Quinn radiators sold here and just take a look at their Trustpilot rating.http://www.heatandplumb.com/acatalog/Quinn_Crystal_Curved_Ladder_Towel_Rails.html
In my personal experience of Quinn rads, I would not purchase another! POS with lousy quality with very poor finish quality.

However if you read their website, on the plus side, they say that they are made in Wales from local steel. Therefore if you want to support British steel then there is your chance.

However for me, none of them put out sufficient heat for my bathroom.

Heat added but I will give them a miss.

Nope, wouldn't think so. My radiators have controls on the bottom... includes turning on/off or setting intensity of heat...

anyways I'll let you get back to your trolling and have a great day.
Just because you don't actually understand energy, power and efficiency, doesn't mean that someone who does and can write about it in a coherent way is a troll.

If that was the case... our boilers n radiators would come half full with water/air/gas mixture... Geez!
y_am_I_buying_this
NiceButDim
y_am_I_buying_this
Of course it cost more as its less efficient not heating the room as quick if at all causing the boiler to run for longer.
I expect you also think that leaving your heating on all day at a lower temperature and then turning it up for when you get home, is cheaper than just turning it off when your out and on when your in the house.
Bottom line is this : The energy lost through a material such as a wall is a linear function of the temperature difference across that material and time. If it is 0 degrees outside and 10 inside, in an hour you will lose half as much heat energy as if it was 20 degrees inside. So if your room doesn't get hot quickly it will probably save you money because the losses are less. This also assumes that the law of conservation of energy applies but no one has dis-proven it yet AFAIK.
I should add that I don't advocate filling your rads with air to save money. If you don't want to heat your room just don't turn the heating on. It's easier and cheaper. But I don't like bad science. Bleeding your radiators is not about saving you energy, it is about having a well performing heating system.
not at all i turn my heating on when i need it. but a radiator that is full of air will not work anywhere near as well or efficient as one that is correctly filled, fact!!. anyways I'll let you get back to your trolling and have a great day.

It's just common-sense... that U have to bleed the radiator every now n then (I do it beginning of winter) Just let the trapped gas/air out, which'll be good in three ways: 1) Radiator working on full capacity 2) Boiler safe from air locks 3) Energy efficiency of both radiator n boiler = peak.

Wtf do people buy all this crap for?

Waffle maker
Donut maker
Cupcake maker
Pretzel maker and on and on

Wish one company would just make a device like these with a dozen swappable plates so one machine does the lot. I remember my parents having a Tefal thing in the 70s with removable plates for waffles, toasties & something else but finding stuff like that now is pretty hard
My electric dog crapped on the pavement. Got into loads of trouble, someone slipped on the ball bearings.

Commentis it just me or does everything seem to 'probably' cause super mega Ebola deaths aids now? If you believe the papers, after working 20 years in an office job you WILL be a carpel tunnelled, hunch-backed, bozz-eyed, caffeine addicted heart attack on legs.
Get some Rosate 36 from Amazon. It has the same level I concentration as the roundup extreme stuff. 360 grams per litre which is the max concentration allowed. This is 120g per litre. So you would need to buy 3 litres of this to cover the same area as one litre of Rosate 36. 1 litre of Rosate 36 is about £15 delivered. 3 litres of this is £85.50.
