This is a fab deal, Staples have this model in for £79.99 at the mo and won't even chuck in free set of cartridges, tights ******s).

Just a bit worried about Aria - the reviews seem to indicate they're a bit rubbish with customer service/people have ha dproblems with products and non delivery....does anyone know anything to the contrary? We'd be ordering the printer for my husband's new business and we're desperate for a new one since the other one died on Friday, need to get some leaflets done asap, so daren't risk ordering it if they are unreliable.

But would love to take the one we bought today back to Staples and say no thanks cos we got one at half the price, lol! :whistling:

All comments welcomed! Sounds like a fab printer from what the man in Staples said, anyway.

Oh god, I'm all flustered now, lol! Are Aria reliable as far as you know, then? We'll be living on beans if he can't get his paperwork printed off....not good for global warming, etc... :giggle:

Aria are OK when you eventually get through to them but it is a trial. I don't think they're any worse than any other e-retailer TBH.

I have the DCP-340CW after a Brother laser and they seem pretty good.

HP printers are generally very expensive with regards running costs though as they have the printhead in the cartridge and compatibles aren't normally available you have to use refills/remanufactured or official hp ink cartridges.

The first was one of their "specials" hence the lower price.

Excellent! Printer arrived today (ordered Sunday) and just registered with Brother for a free 256 something or other USB stick (technically speaking) seeing as dh is always nagging that we need one in case our computer crashes and we lose all our kids pics, etc. And the humungous booklet I had to type out for dh's new business that knacked the old printer in the first place, ta LOTS OP of that thread, too!!!

I love Hot Deals UK. Fab init.

Ps the man at Staples didn't even look dh the eye when he had to authorise the return of the £80 one of the same model we bought from there. Heh heh.... :giggle:
