After just seeing another deal for a Brother all in one, I found this a really good price for this networked all in one including fax.

I bought this a few months ago when they were £100 or so from Misco, but now down to £80, and don't forget you can register this for a three year warranty. See here http://www.brother.co.uk/g3.cfm/s_page/84030/s_mode/display/s_page/84030

Brother printing technology delivers high-quality printing of photos or documents with resolutions up to 1200 x 6000 dpi on glossy paper and at speeds up to 20 ppm for monochrome and 15 ppm for colour. They are compatible with Windows and Mac Operating Systems. They also include both USB 2.0 Full Speed and Ethernet interfaces, so when they are connected to your wired or wireless router, you can share many of these MFCs' powerful features including colour printing.

The MFC-5840CN is the perfect companion to your digital camera. The conveniently located media card slots on the front of the machine will accept the following media cards: Memory Stick CompactFlash Smart Media xD-Picture Card Secure Digital. You can download photos and print them directly from the media cards - print an index sheet to preview your photos and print selected photos in a variety of sizes. The media card works just like another drive on your computer to access or store your photos.

Be careful when buying this printer, it goes through ink like it's no one's business.

I've got this machine, and when one ink cartridge goes, you can't do anything with the machine, its useless. You can't even send a fax, let alone receive one. Even the cleaning operation is designed to waste ink.

I'd stay well clear of Brother MFC devices, just do a google and you'll see what I mean.

Funny - that's what SWMBO says, can't understand why :?

HAd one for about 2 years. Excellent buy. I paid 99 quid refurb from Morgan.

Ink usage is ok. I get from stinky ink.

As long as you keep a spare no real problems.
