Good find, voted hot. Do you know what model it is, the picture on the website shows it as a DCP-315CN, which I thought was network ready, but it says on the website it's not network ready. Also need to find out the dimensions of the printer to see if it will fit inside my pc table, managed to find one site for the DCP-315CN, but it states width is 50cm, which is wider than my old Epson c62, but it doesn't look that wide from the pictures. Any help would be appreciated.

The Brother website here says

DCP-115C
The Brother DCP-115C can create colour prints, copies, scans and even borderless photos from one compact machine - saving space, time and money.

So that's a Yes :)

i bought this from tesco a few months ago for £38 and when you register your details on brother site you have a choice of free gifts including 3 year onsite warranty. i think the offer on brother site was until dec 07.

Very confusing

the photo is clearly a DCP-315CN which is network ready hence the N suffix

The DCP-115C has a different display. The empirestores description does not say sample picture or product may vary, but it does say "not network ready"

So I would guess if it is a DCP-115C and not a DCP-315N then send it back because its not as per picture. Note displays are different.

Thanks for that- yes I'm tending to think it's the 115 model too now, even so, Brother are currently selling it discounted at £59.98, and that's direct from manufacturer- a £25 saving is still good I think :)
[admin]#11
..And I guess if it's not the right one for you, with redcats free delivery / returns, it's worth a punt :)
#12
what printer to go with out of the 2?

Or the one edi posted.
#13
It looks like the 315cn in the picture. This has the benefit of a card reader for SmartMedia, Compact Flash, Memory stick, Memory Stick Pro, Secure Digital and XD Picture Card, wheras the 115c only reads CF, SD and XD. I have the 115c (bought for £29.99 rom Argos in their sale 6 months ago) & it is great so the 315cn can only be as good and probably better.
Lets hope this deal is for the 315cn.
[admin]#14
I've just spoken to EmpireStores regarding my order- the printer IS the DCP-115CN and IS network ready.
#15

And I don't know what network ready means but it seemed to excite the boys :? :giggle:

Think it's when you can link more than one computer to it? Probably not though...
#20
may be it comes with installed network card. just a guess though
#21
ahhh ok ty, i cant see the code box on checkout?
#22
ok i see it! sorry!!
#23
How much is ink for these?

Edit: It's supported by Vista.
[admin]#24
All sorted Lou?!
#25
Network ready basically means that you can link it up to a router and print from a networked laptop for example without having to have any pc on (as it doesnt have to be connected to one to print)..
#26
Great price!, And what H2w said about networking ^^
