Not sure if this will work, I don't see why not, but the Brother QL-700 is on an Amazon Lightning Deal at £52. That's a good price as it's £73 is elsewhere - but the bonus is that currently there is a £30 cashback from Brother on this model, so makes it only £22 if it works.

Worth a try anyway, I've bought one...although I'd still prefer a 710W/720NW for wireless.

this was on sale for £22 i think on another deal
#3
Could you not plug it into a router with a USB port, effectively making it wireless?
#4
For cash back it has to be brother authorised dealer.
Don't know if amazon is one

I've bought it, will try to check with Brother on Monday if Amazon are an authorised dealer, if not, suppose I can send it back.

A few amazon reviews on Various brother printers mention the cashback :)

So yep cashbacks available, my QL-570 works perfectly so I dont need this one even though it is wireless... XD

Heat!

Is it easy to claim cashback? I don't really need it, but for £22 I'm tempted
#8
Where do you claim the cashback from? Can't see it on the brother site?

Where do you claim the cashback from? Can't see it on the brother site?

http://www.brother.co.uk/labelling/desktop-labeller-cashback-or-free-pt80h-september-to-december

I think it's the link above? But how do we claim the cashback, since that link above requires you entering a code.

So code Q3QL30.

Not 100% sure, as not done it yet, but if you register an account you can register your device and there is a promo code box there. If someone else has done it, maybe they can advise.

Thanks, yeah it should be fairly straight forward, was reading comments from a old thread and they said you just put it through the site also.

Yes, £52 was part of the Lightning Deals on Amazon, you just missed it I'm afraid.
#18
Thats - hot deal though.

Received mine today, rather happy so far. just need to sort out the cash back and find some cheap compatibles, any suggestions?
#20
Having found out how to print royal mail lables, i wonder how i survived without it. I have also pretty much labelled everything in my house...

Sent away my invoice so hopefully cashback will go through

Strange mine had no invoice either, just printed one out
#23
I'll do just that, tried to submit bank details and got internal error 500...not looking good. will try in the morning
#24
don't keep it a secret, tell us ;)

I'll mainly be using these for ebay sales, which isn't much!

I'm a sucker for a bargain, should the cashback come through

If you use RM labels for ebay sales just take a sceenshot of the label - Paste to paint - Crop the part you need - copy into the p-touch software and add the address at the bottom. Its a surprisingly fast method.
#26
Gutted, they haven't even despatched mine yet. Still says preparing for despatch :(

Probably ordered one of the first, but if they don't send it tomorrow it'll be too late for the cashback deadline unless it's extended.
#27
you have until the 31st of jan to submit cashback claim. as long as you ordered in dec, you're good
#28
Not sure the invoice date will be right though...at the moment it's just an order date. Will have to see, I'll return in the worst case and order elsewhere.

For "supplier" section when claiming the Cashback do I just write "Amazon.co.uk" or is it "Amazon EU S.a.r.L".

Want to make sure I get it right the first go lol, thanks

You know the part when validating your claim through sending them an invoice, what exactly do I fax to them?

Is it just the Amazon receipt I received with the product they want to see? That's the only correspondence in regards to the sale I have with Amazon anyways.

Please include your product serial number and contact details in all correspondence.

How am I supposed to supply proof of product serial number? Lol what did you guys do, thanks.

Did you just print the entire page of the cashback claim details off the brothers site? And then included that along with the invoice receipt. Thanks

Oh okay, kool. I'm going to try figuring out how to fax it to them instead as I got a printer with a scanner that supports that facility.

Edit: All done now, thanks 'Experiment' for having assisted me :) Hope everything works out now...
