Can't actually see anywhere that tells you where the cruise departs from
#3
where does it leave from?

I went to Bruge 2 years ago, I found it quite expensive, I'll never forget the £14 very ordinary salad my girlfriend ordered from a very ordinary place.

Why go in a very ordinary place? And salad doesn't exactly lend itself to fine dining.

Leaves from HULL people, look at Superbreak website, this is about the usual price TBH...

Bruges is one of the most beautiful European cities. The architecture is stunning and there is plenty of places to eat and drink. A walk along the prom is exhilarating and at night the city is very romantic. It's a must visit.
Groupon however........................
Heat added anyway.

Bruges is lovely. It isn't that expensive at all unless you eat in a main tourist part. The cruise is simply an overnight ferry with a cabin. Don't expect to see anything tho, it is just the North Sea. The hotel is Ibis which is an economy hotel.

The cabins are very small so you will end up sitting in a lounge. There will probably be people sleeping all around you and if it's rough being sick.

It's about the right price and if you live near Hull may be worth doing. I'm not voting on it.

There is a lot to do in Bruges tho including the canal, convent and expensive horse and cart rides.

I have been looking at going to Bruges for a few days from 26th December.
Hotel prices are not that bad for 4 or 5 nights, but, will shops bars etc be open? Or do they have a "tourist season" which could mean that a lot of places are closed because its just after xmas?

I went to New Orleans and on New Years eve it was dead. we ended up in a Chinese as the bars open wouldn't accept my sons as below 21.

i'M not sure, Germany is very quiet but I'm not sure about Bruges. The convent is likely to be shut as are the museums. Boxing day will be dead I think.

Just brought.

The date I booked only had the £125.00 availability, so £250.00 in total.

Used Groupon 25% voucher for new users, which knocked a maximum of £30 off. Total price was £220.00, plus 5.25% topcashback....tracking at £12.00.

Total £208.00
