i have this and the old green one. best monitors ever, fantastic clear quality, no interference ever, the talk back function is a must (especially good for asking hubby to bring wipes or a drink when feeing baby)

this is the cheapest ive ever seen it. we have the older one 4 years and this one 2 and a bit years.
#9
Great monitor bought at full price and impressed with it
#10
Why would anyone want to monitor digital babies? (_;)
#11
Nice baby monitor and a good price.
#12
I have and actually prefer this one:

Binatone BM200 Digital Audio Baby Monitor - circa £50 but I bought mine last year from WHSmiths for just under £40.
#13
Great monitors well worth the price
#14
We have two of these - and I honestly couldn't fault them.

The rollrolls (lullabies as said by my 23 monther) are invaluable.

Fantastic price for a fantastic product.

We have found this one excellent too. We particularly like the thermometer and the alarm in the hand-held unit if the temperature gets too hot or cold. Saves disturbing baby by constantly entering the room to check. As mentioned above, the lullabye and talkback features have their uses too. We have even made use of the torch facility on a number of occasions.

I have never seen this unit at less than £60 since we bought it a year ago, so voted hot from me.

Great-deals; can you tell us specifically what is better about the Binatone unit you suggest and provide a current price + link please? I'm sure it compares well but I reckon people hunting for the best product for their needs would appreciate some more guidance.

This is so much better than the Tomy Walkabout Platinum. The Tomy has stupid sticky out buttons that are easily knocked while being held or while in transit.
#17
Mmmm well its cheap but no camera, no night vision, no heart beat sensor mat etc. Yes to get all these features its probably 3 times as much.

People will laugh but if its your first child, yes my Mrs specifically asked for some of these features !
#18
We have this one, LOVE IT

Have some heat :D
#19
Excellent monitor. Highly recommended. Crystal clear sound and active all the time.
#20
Strange it's on BT's front page as 'on offer' http://www.shop.bt.com/ yet Amazon still beat the price by £10 :) [BT's own product are post free BTW]

Never ceases to amaze me that manufacturers direct websites almost invariably end up being a lot dearer than retail outlets.

Would not touch binatone with a barge pole! Really cheap and nasty whereas this is a very good quality monitor!

What did parents do back in the day?
#23
Very good monitor, cheaper than Costco where I bought mine

Great monitor, great price. I got ours (a refurb) from http://www.telephonesonline.co.uk/btbabymon150b-bt-baby-digital-monitor-150-lcd-display-hi-def-sound.html for £39.99 (although ours was a Grade A refurb at the time)

I got mine from them as well - unfortunately I've had issues with the parent unit never holding charge and it has to sit on the charger at all times. They sent me replacement batteries, but no difference. BT helpline suggested resetting the parent unit - didn't work.

Anyone else had recharging issues with these units?

Good item, good price! heat added

Depends what day you are talking about.

Thanks for this,

I've been on the lookout for some decent ones and these have great reviews.

I bought the Binatone ones but had nothing but problems with them therefore sent them back and just not found any since that I liked.

That sounds more like a device that the Secret Service would use rather than a baby monitor :D

GREAT price for an excellent product!
Our little girl is now 10 months old. We shopped around after reading lots of excellent reviews on this item. Must say though that for all the fab things it does, we've never added music from our MP3 player or used the different melodies. However a big plus is being able to see the temperature.
This is def the cheapest price I've ever seen it, I think they may have updated the model, tho in my opinion this is excellent.
Rated hot hot hot!
#31
Been looking for a decent monitor at the right price heat added thanks to o.p
#32
We've got this set, yes we have problems with the charging unit. But to combat this we have purchased high capacity (2500mah) AA batteries from Lidl for £2.50.
Also the parent unit is a bit quiet.

The ability to switch the music on remotely is a excellent feature !
