You fail to add that you have to pay 12 months up front.

Your link is to the BT shop by the way.

Do not include cashback in your quote. The real price of this offer is £13.25 per month if you pay for one year in advance. If you forget to make at least two calls per month, you get charged another £1.50 per month.
This makes this deal not only over-complicated but also not good value.

How is it overly complicated? You don't have to add extra Calling Features. If you do... then have a look what Martin's got to say -here-

Line Rental Saver. Offer extended to 12/11/10. Available to BT Calling Plan customers paying £113.88 for 12 months in advance by debit/credit card – equivalent to £9.49 a month (full price of £131.88 applied from 14/05/10 to 09/07/10. Full price changed to £119.88 on 13/11/10).

So the saving is less because they are reducing the Line Rental to £9.99 a month from 13 November 2010.

Correct link now added- Check description.

yeahbutitsnotfree, you dont seem to understand this BT offer at all. You should read the description carefully. Plus, you are not allowed to include cash back in a quote since it is not guaranteed.

BTW, good idea to provide a link for the cash back as well. I cannot see this offer on TCB.

THIS IS NOT A COLD DEAL PEOPLE WAKEUP

I'm paying much more than this to postoffice homephone. They charge you around 9p connection charge EACH CALL!
We call the Doctors surgery and they do not pick up the phone! The majority of the time they are engaged on other calls!
So were spending ££'s every 3 months when we haven't spoke to anybody during the day! This is the same if not even worse when my wife has to miss-call me (even if it does'nt connect it takes around 11p per call!

I'll have to check it out

Just wondering if anyone has actually managed to get this to work?

I submitted the order online last night and nothing has tracked on topcashback. I have submitted a claim for a missing transaction. :-(

They normally track within a couple of days.

Nope, nothing has tracked. Normally everything I do through TCB or quidco works fine, so I know my process of clearing cookies etc before works.

How ever, I don't think I will get anything any. The T&C for the BT cashback on TCB state the following:

"Cashback will be paid for new customers only."

As i am already a BT customer, that surely means I won't get anything.

Damn, wish I had spotted that before I did the transaction. :-(

I'd try cancelling within 14 days and put it in my wifes name or something.. try it, it's got to be worth the amount of cashback.

Thanks mate. If I could put it in your wife's name that would be appreciated. ;-)

Unfortunately too late for that now. The letter I received from BT said I had 7 days to cancel the contract from the start date of 27th October.

On own fault - I didn't read the T&C's carefully enough when I took the deal. Normally I read everything carefully and don't just take someone elses word for it, but on this occasion it appears I missed it.

As I said, I have raised a non tracking request through TCB which doesn't get processed until after 30 days, so I will see if anything comes of that.

Looking at the contract I do have the option of dropping from anytime (£4.99 per month) to evening/weekends (£3 per month), so I'll probably do that after the 3 months free finish.
