I have searched around all last week. This is currently the only offer available £10 per month + line rental on 12 months contract. Dont think there is a better deal out there on 12 months contract.

Also, it is not comparable to Virgin as it is not available in my area (coventry).

Deal only available via moneysupermarket website.

No, you don't. That's a retention deal obviously.

Looks good on face value but BT cannot be trusted with billing.
They increase your price mid contract & are legally allowed to do so !!
Google BT billing complaints or even better go over to the BT forums, its better to have a good idea on what to expect in the future. ( frustrating India call centre ).
Sadly BT is no longer the honest reputable Company it once was.
Don't buy without checking out all the dirty con tricks that this company play.
PS your classed as a new customer for 3 months so you will be left alone for 3 months before the con tricks begin.

I changed over to BT for Infinity 2 and am quite happy with it so far. When I called AOL up to cancel my broadband they were offering me all sorts of deals to stay with them, so, try your current supplier first and you may get a shock at the deal they offer to keep you.

Do you really need to add the same nonsense into every BT post?

This is your opinion but tonnes of other people like me have never had a problem with BT and ive always found the terms and conditions to be pretty clear.

Perhaps you didnt read the terms and class this as dirty tricks that you mention!!

Aabs is a virgin employee spamming EVERY.SINGLE. BT THREAD.
I have never had any issue with BT, at all.
Hope that evens it out a wee bit.
@aabs feel free to reply but youre in my block list with other spammers, maybe you know some of them.

Terrible customer service. Had to cancel as mis-sold deal.

@dojodeejay. Welcome to the forum or maybe you only decided to register today to make this post.
You are entitled to jump to any opinion or conclusion you wish to reach.

However for the users of this community who use it for what its intended to be used for........
I have no connection of any telecommunications companies nor do I have any benefit in promoting one company ahead of another.
I am in fact a customer of BT simply sharing my experience and findings of this shocking company which I really do wish that someone had published this before I contracted to them.
Hence my reference to BT forums and google reveal that my experience is not an isolated one.
Anyone who chooses this deal will find out in good time but at least they will know its coming.

Talktalk is useless for me as they restart the contract if you change your address. So fibre optic broadband with talktalk comes with 18 months contract, if you change accommodation at 9th Month then they will force you to sign up for another 18 months contract at new address.

What is the upload speed with this kind of service?
I'm currently with Sky Broadband with 18mb/s download but uploads only around 1mb/s - it takes hours to upload a few minutes of video to YouTube at HD Quality. I mainly want faster uploads
Also do I need to call Sky for a Mac Code if going from ADSL to Fibre?

Is there any way to get this deal via TCB?

Reallu dude.. You haven't told me.. Bad... such a deal intro-ward..

Virgin sucks , they have no incentives for customers to stay with them , have been with them for over 8 years now and in spite of all the deals around at the moment all they could offer me was an upgrade from 50mb to 100mb and I will have to pay an extra £8 a month just to keep the services I currently have . Looking for a deal here right now , am disgusted at their inflexibility and lack of retention deals . They also ban you from re-joining them for 90 days after leaving them . :(

Like all Virgin Media customers who don't have fibre by their properties, my Virgin account is being closed. 100,000 people with @virgin.net email addresses will have to get a new email address. So I'm switching now to BT Infinity.
