Good deal but check your getting your speeds, I recontracted on an offer for Infinity 2 for £15 for 2 years line speed check said 52-64 (cabinet is enabled up to 78) only thing that changed was upload, engineer said my line wasn't capable of anything over 45 ish despite the fact it's just up the road,so now back on infinity 1 again. But certainly some good deals about.

Was that BT sport in HD?

Just been offered following:

£32.49 total per month
£7.00 BT fibre infinity 1
£1.50 BT TV (have to take this to get BT Sport)
£5.00 HD
£0.00 (BT Sport)
£18.99 Line rental

But thats on a 2 year contract.

2 year contracts? that's worrying, I praised BT nly last week for their 12 month and 9 month deal terms.
#15
Be careful that you check before you sign up to the infinity 2 76mb deal, because, as was mentioned above by phassal if your line can only handle 30 mb, that's as fast as you're going to get. Infinity 1 or 2. They can't boost faster speeds to you.

Fibre to the home is Virgin, BT is to the cabinet.

Actually, it can be either. Research CityFibre, Openreach FTTP, Hyperoptic, Zen, BT Infinity 3 & 4..... The list goes on.

I live in area of Milton Keynes where it's only fiber to home so I'm stuck with BT for fiber or 2mb ADSL over copper

I got the same, and think it's a good deal. I'm not worried by the 2 year contract, because BT being BT at some point in the 2 years they will put in a price rise well over inflation - then they have to let you leave free.

Is there a Live Chat facility for existing Private customer for BT Broadband? A guy I work with says he renewed like that a while ago but I can't see it anywhere...
