I was going to buy the 20gb/month package £7.50/month plus TV for and extra £5/month and line rental for £169.90/year to get the £200 Quidco cashback. I am only ordering the TV package to increase the cashback (from £80 to £200) but as I proceeded through the ordering screens there is a free TV starter pack that's available. After checking with Quidco it is valid with the £200 cashback - so fingers crossed TV, BB and line rental should effectively be free for a year!!!!

Packages
1 20GB BT Infinity 1 + Calls
1 Line Rental Saver
1 Infinity Activation Charge
1 BT Home Hub 5
1 Delivery charge
1 BT TV - Starter (18 month discounted offer)
1 Activation charge
1 YouView box from BT
1 BT Sport Pack (free)
1 BT Sport HD Pack (free 3months on 1month contract)

Total:
One-off £225.85 (years line rental, activation fees & delivery)
Monthly £7.50 (Infinity Fibre Broadband & free TV)

Annual Total £315.85 (although the TV starter pack is free for 18 months)

Less:
Quidco £200 (confirm that TV package is value via live chat)
Sainsburys voucher £125

EFFECTIVE PROFIT £9.15 :)
ps. Quidco increase rate only lasts for another 2 days/ 4th Jan 2015

Hmmmm. Signed my parents up to the £80 Quidco deal yesterday, but didn't see any TV Starter option... Tried again just now (with my address since their order is in progress) but I still can't get the TV Starter offer. Is there any particular link you used please? Or browser, etc? Many thanks in advance!

Good deal if you can do with 20gb download limit, for me it's not enough.

I get through 20gb some days!! A very good price for the package if you don't use a lot of Internet.

Voted hot for those that can get by with it...

20gb is not much

My concern with these packages is that there is really a mismatch between someone wanting the speed (& reliability) of Fibre based broadband, and then having a usage cap on exploiting that speedy data transfer.

Would encourage anyone considering such capped packages to carefully check their past usage of their Internet connection to ensure they don't use it much (20GB wouldn't last a week here.)

BT promise to email you when you hit 70% and 90% of your cap but once you hit that 20GB the £ start piling up
"What happens if I go over my monthly usage allowance?
"If you exceed your usage allowance, you'll be charged for any additional usage in units of 5 gigabytes (Gb), at £5.60 per 5Gb or part thereof, which will appear in your next bill, and you will be sent an email to let you know." [at least they manage to redefine Gb, the Gigabit abbreviation to mean Gigabyte - where they use the correct GB elsewhere in their statements].

Anyway good deal IF you can cope with the caps, and of course get your unguaranteed, but likely, £back [though if you quickly have to upgrade your package to avoid the 20GB cap you might jeopardise that £back]. As always with pricing watch out for the the mismatch of 18m contract commitments, but line-rental being discounted when prepaid in 12m chunks!

I'm using internet explorer, started by just selecting the BB and phone and the + £5 option to the right on the package = Total £12.50/month (+ line rental/ activations etc). after finding your address you go through all the ordering screens where it confirms each part of your package - this is where I added the TV Starter option instead of the £5/month (as I don't really plan to use it).

Thanks for the reply, but still can't get it to work! Nevermind, might be line-/postcode- specific as it's asking whether I'm moving house and/or want to install a new line or keep my existing (cable?) one.

if you sum up all
tv+BB+line rental = £5 + £7.50 + 16.99 = 29.49 A Month

for 18 months = 530.82 less £125 less quidco £200 = 205.82

still have to pay £205.82

correct me if m wrong

sorry forgot to mention Activation charges £49 + hub delivery £6.95
£261.77

The unlimited deal may be better @ £10 a month , although no option to add the TV for free
#16
What is the point having broadband with speed allowing you to use all your monthly allowance in 2-3 hours?
It's like having a Ferrari living on an island with one bumpy road...

not pay the £5/month for the TV its free
and paying the line rental up front so 169.90 for 12 months for price of 10
and £125 sainsburys voucher
free weekend calls
and internet used for BT TV not counted against allowance

not bad if you don't used that much internet, this deal isn't for everyone ...

20gb is far from infinity that would be used with in a few days in my house

20Gb - probably about 1 XBox One game. Not for me I'm afraid.
