if you ordered through quidco or topcashback keep an eye as you will see your bb cancelled and reordered for a different activation date they don't on me last week.do not ring or text to say it is cancelled but you will find they place the order themselves and not you.

Indeed.
BT offer the most useless internet speeds to most users. They also have the cheek to charge you when your contract expires & you want to leave.....It's all in your contract.....You did read the contract didnt you? **sigh**
Here's how well their last deal posted on here went down. As you can see it went down like a lead balloon

i must be one of the few then with Infinity, regularly getting 40Mbit/s download. Moved from sky rip off prices, no problems with weather affecting sky tv signal, best move ever.

we waited and waited then realised you actually have to put a claim in, it's not sent automatically !!

I was with plusnet on their fibre optic deal changed to BT when they was giving a £100 Salisbury's voucher for new customers, haven't noticed any difference with the speed compared to plusnet (I get on average 38mbs) and I got my voucher in about 3 weeks

Yeh I claimed it a long time ago, still nothing. Going to have to call them again. My Infinity has been **** for 2 weeks now, was getting 60/15mb speeds then there was a fault outside that they 'fixed' now it's stuck at 20/4 ;/

I used to be with them on infinity until we had dto move in march, from midnight until 16:00 was brill 35 to 40 meg speeds once bloody 4pm came it was like sending oversized slate with sparrows - getting nowhere very fast bloody hated it and its digusting they slow you down that much

Did you claim it via their website?

thx mbrown956.... forgot to claim the voucher.

best move ever I agree. you have to be wired to get the benefit, bet everyone who is complaining is on wireless. in addition, a slow computer will still be slow, a quicker internet speed will not make a blind bit of difference.
I hit 10MB/sec download speed on steam easily. so so good!

Our village is served by two cabinets, the one cabinet that has been fibre enable since May 2014 is about 50 metres from my house but doesn't serve my house, yet my inlaws who live 250 metres further away from the cabinet are served by it and can get fibre.

Looking to renew my contract with BT. Overall happy with their service(surprised to say)
But have to be a new customer to get the voucher (which I've never claimed as signed the contract as one of the 1st Infinity customers)
So now looking for a way to switch to a 30day contract and then sign for this deal. Any ideas?

Would cancelling and ordering again qualify as new customer?
