Its ok if you are happy with slow 150 connection as most other ones are 300.

Thanks OP. I think unfortunately these are from the bizarre product line of Powerline adaptors that have >100mbps technology but are limited by 10/100mbps Ethernet ports.

Quickly being superseded by 1200mbps models that have gigabit ports.

They are a good price and would do a good turn but will be insufficient for future applications eg streaming multiple HD streams or single UHD streams.

For comparison AV1200 two packs have been £22 recently and wi-fi extenders have been circa £12.

Thanks for this could you point me in the direction of the type of product I should be buying for multiple streaming? A previous HUKD would be great then I can look out for when on offer again.

I'm on mobile at the moment but Sainsburys had AV1200 for £21 recently - some quiet stores will still have them I'm sure - they were a Netgear product. I'm sure a HUKD search for AV1200 or Netgear will reveal them.

This is a good deal for what it is. People are comparing this to simple powerline adapters which these are not.

These create Wifi Hostspots using the Powerline Connection. The do not create a Wifi Extension so do not need to be in range of other Wifi Access Points.

Perfect if you simply want to create a new Wifi Hotspot without the need for extra wires or routers.

Most Poweline devices do not have this function and those that do certainly cost more than £30.
