Price quoted includes £5 discount for having BT broadband.
Wasn't amazing at £20, hardly earth shattering at £25. Plus I have the added bonus of not being a BT customer.

BT sport should really be removed form the title. £20pm is only if your a BT customer in which case you'll have access to BT sports anyway.

The £5 a month 500mb (4g network) 200mins calls, unlimited texts deal is in my opinion the headline grabber.......

Sim only with unlimited mins and texts and a whopping 20gb of data, plus free wifi and sports is a cracking price. I'm just reluctant to change from O2 as never find EE's signal very good and BT are EE as such
#3
Does it allow tethering?
#4
Great deal and up to 10 SIMs per household I believe.

Is it just the Sports app and not actual free BT sport?

I believe you don't need to be a BT broadband account holder to get the discount, what you need is to find a place that has BT broadband and then order to there.

If you have BT Broadband at home you can get a £5 discount on your BT Mobile plan. You don't need to be the BT Broadband account holder - you simply need to live in a house or flat with a BT Broadband connection. What's more everyone in the house can benefit from the discount.

Simply tell us you have broadband at the top of the BT Mobile plans page and we'll show you the plans with a discount.

I will wait see if it appears on quidco cash back and sainsburys vouchers hopefully

The live chat says BT Sport is included in the price so you can watch live footy etc, and you can stream it to tv via Chromecast.!

Hot deal.!

What are the costs outside your allowance, and BT to BT?

I can confirm that tethering is not included. Reason stated is 'We don't support tethering because using many devices on one mobile service quickly uses up your allowance and can lead to out of plan charges. Therefore we want to make sure you're always connected on your mobile, and have the right plan for your mobile needs.'

I'll vote hot but on that basis not for me - I don't actually tether that often but when I do I'm glad I have the option.

Yes and unless the regulators object they will own the whole network in a (relatively) short period of time).

All 3 plans are pretty good value, especially given they include 4g, wifi hotspots and sport

Fantastic deal, was paying £16 a month for the same allowance with 2GB of data on PAYG. Same network, 18gb more data per month for another £4.

Cheers OP!

the £12 deal is really good, I'm with Vodafone and pay £16 for

600 minutes
unlimited texts
750mb data (and they don't have 4g in my area)

so the £12 deal from BT being

500 minutes
unlimited texts
2000mb data (I have 4g+ with EE here)

is very good. I also have BT internet so will be switching

Which is clearly rubbish isn't it?
EE themselves let you thether, as you pay for an amount of data, it's up to you to decide how you 'spend' it...

I will be getting this once you can start getting Quidco and Sainsburys vouchers. The £20 p/m plan is extremely good. EE 4G is significantly better than O2.
#35
I wouldn't take it for free. BT is a nightmare.

damn, shame you can't share it with other people and keep 2 individual numbers, would be ideal for me and my missus. live chat person said:

To clarify, if you want 2 sim card of unlimited for example it will be £20 * 2 = £40 for 2 sims if you keep your own numbers, if you share the number it's one £20. shame as we need 2 numbers.
