I've been with virgin media for 8 years and got a bit sick of the price rise every year so I've gone with BT I was paying £41 for 70mb unlimited broadband and unlimited calls and they wouldn't give me a better deal even though I threaten to leave so I have and I've got this deal with BT (unlimited 52mb broadband and unlimited calls). if you go on the link they have a black Friday deal for infinity 1 which is £27.99 plus if you add unlimited calls which is £8.50 it totals to £36.49 that times 12 months is £437.89 and add the one off installation fee £59.99 it totals £497.87. that minus tcb which mine has gone through for £121 plus £100 BT reward card comes to £276.87 that divided by 12months comes to avg of £23 you can also add line rental saver to make it even cheaper but I haven't just incase virgin retentions gives me a better deal before my installation date also there's a 14 day cooling off period if you don't like bt's service so you can join virgin with a different name and get their new customer deals which are better than their existing customer deals. hope this helps someone sorry about the long post. PS there's a limit on this deal I think it ends on monday

I got this deal on black Friday. quick tracking cash back at £155 but that's because I added the BT simo deal at £8 a month.

seemed a no brainier with £40 voucher and the an extra £20 on quidco.

so a simo deal for £36 is a bargain imo.

hot deal

Is there any way around signing for a new deal with an existing provider and get cash back?
Think mine is up for renewal soon and I can't go with another ISP unless I downgrade to ADSL.

Mine's up for renewal with bt but am going with Virgin this time without phone. £18/m for 50mb broadband + £15 activation fee so £19.25/month in total... Then £20 quidco cash back + £50 free credit (using VXVBOX50 code) brings it down to ~£14.16/month

I went for this a few days ago on a broadband only package. tcb offered 110 but quidco were 115, however have tracked at 120 at the moment.

Was so happy when I got the email from EE saying they're prices were rising above contract agreement amount and I could change without early exit fees ^^

If you use a MSE link via cable.co.uk you get fibre broadband for £9/month when taking out upfront line rental and £100 BT prepaid MasterCard, £40 M&S:

Upfront life rental, £9pcm fibre, I've off installation cost £60 = 373.

Factor in 100+40 rewards, it comes to just over £19/month for fibre broadband.

heads up: the 14 day cooling off period isn't what you think, it starts from when you sign the contract (so today) and they delay the service start for 2 weeks.... so you can't actually test the service during the cooling off period.... also this is about an average deal normally....so terrible for black friday weekend...

Just ordered this via Quidco. Might help someone.

Paying £27.99 x 12
Upfront Fees £59.99
Sky Early Termination £9.50

Total = £405.37

Quidco has tracked £120 (Don't understand why when their website states £132) Plus £100 MasterCard Credit.

Total = £220

£405.37 - £220 = £185.37

Working out £15.45 a month.

if you are switching to Bt and have to pay a termination fee with your current provider for leaving then mention it too Bt. They will credit your account with whatever amount your current provider charges. That's what the guy said when I called up to enquire about their deal yesterday morning.

I have signed up for BT Infinity 1 for £27.99 thru quidco. Its tracking at £120 at the moment, but when I enquired with Quidco they assured me that is their base rate and when confirmed it will jump to £132

I am changing from Utility Warehouse....probably one of the worst internet providers in the sense of limited speeds.

But why are people voting cold?

Im not taking any tv package as I am using freeview and kodi, which works for me.

I got an offer from BT. Its 37.50 a month including line rental for BT Infinity 2 package. Issue is 24 months contract not 12 months!! I wish Virgin was available in my area!

I cannot wait to leave BT. Dreadful customer service, phone line down for 5th time in just over a year and cannot get call divert because they have my postcode wrong

BEWARE TCB did not pay out :( Some baloney about not being the last referrer. Turns out if the order number starts with Z6 then they don't payout for no apparent reason! After 6 years away I thought I'd give BT another chance but I've been royally ripped off!
