:-Dwhat a bargain. I've been looking for new idect phones for a while and needed a triple pack. never seen then so cheap, especially the silver ones. gorgeous.

These are trash. I spent £70 on the twin pack a year ago but now wouldn't pay £5 for them if I had my time again. Here is my amazon review:

Whilst being very pretty and stylish, this phone is not up to scratch.

Problems:
1. Extremely unclear with some of hissing and distortion during calls.
2. Too quiet with only 3 volume levels.
4. Listening to messages requires 7 keystrokes on the handset and cannot be done from the base station.
5. Deleting messages takes another several keystrokes per message.
6. Answerphone records nothing but registers a message if the other party hangs up. (Then the 10 odd keystrokes above are required to delete.)
7. Something is wrong with the ground curcuit as when the LED displaying the number of messages is flashing, an extremely bad hissing is present on the line.

Give it a miss.

I'd agree with the above post, poor sound quality, with hissing even when the phone is a yard away from the base station. One of my friends bought the same triple pack as me, we discovered this only when we first spoke on them and ended up using mobile phones as the sound quality was so bad.
The ansa fone often doesn't 'flash' the icon to let you know there's a message - either that or you hear the message, delete it and the icon still flashes as if the message is still there.
they look fab for sure, but be prepared to be disappointed from a quality point of view.

I've got these - originally I bought just the one then bought an extra handset later on. Found them to be great (phoneline wasn't too great but when I moved to Virgin cable it's been crystal clear ever since). Only problem is now that the one of the handsets needs new batteries and I can't get the battery compartment open - I'm just damaging it but it won't budge!

Kahunnaxxx and derekc2002 - I think you must be talking about different phones as these ones don't have an answer machine on them.
