sorry to tell you, if you have the bt you view all you needed to do is contact them via chat or phone, they send them out free next day (they say 2-3 days) delivery. I had a set last week.
I was told they stopped sending as standard as so many people never used them and complained!! most sold as far as I was aware.
but the ones I got were also pass through for the sockets and they had double rj45 (ethernet) ports on each - very hand if you are in a big house and have more than one networkable device.
someone mentioned they were doing wifi extender versions at the same time but mine were just ethernet.

I'm not with BT, I just bought a brand new Youview+ box (Humax DTR-T2100 500gb recorder) with a new Homehub 5 locally from Gumtree for £50 then sold the Homehub for £20 on ebay as I needed a new Freeview recorder as my 1tb one had packed up. Tried the catch up on it via a long network cable and think it's better than iplayer on the tv and my now tv box so decided to get the powerlines.

ah, pity, my mother-in-law has just had her bt tv you view box installed, so I'll be getting a 2nd set shortly (always handy)
didn't mean any offence to your initial post, just for information.

BTW, the catchup and additional channels are worth it, I've managed to basically get free for myself for 16months and 10.5months for mother-in-law using topcashback & other offers combined. think we caught at right time, free line rental/caller display/72 infinity/btyouview+ & mobile - only hustle added the mobile sim £8 per month had £60 cash card & £25 cashback along with renewal of £20 ... lol so all basically free.. makes it worse as I had come from sky and they had the return to sky offer - again cashback along with their crazy discount & £100 account credit - so sky free for 14 months! bt you view box now in spareroom lol... hope these crazy campaigns continue.
enjoy the semi wireless free adaptors - I find they work great in large stone brick homes.

No idea, I spent ages looking around and this was the cheapest I could find, they sell for more second hand on ebay!

Bought a set of these before Xmas for ~£15 on another deal and they've been great. No idea why this is getting cold votes.

Thanks for that snippet of information, you just saved me a small fortune, l`ve` been looking for a Powerline Adapter,
after switching to BT last year, again from This Deal
Always missing the £20 odds deal, and balk paying £40 odds, will rather leave cables trailing.;)
This morning, looking through, saw the OP post, thought that`s cheap why cold? Into comments to find out why, saw your comment, and presto onto chat, Powerline Adapter on it`s way, like you said 2-3 days.
Thank you so much.:3
