Seems like a pretty cheap way to get fibre broadband with line rental etc included. Plus BT go on about their huub having the best range etc so guess it's pretty good. Didn't realise how easy to switch it was either, spoke on live chat to BT and they said they contact your existing supplier so they handle it all.

Up to 52mbps speeds, and includes 100gb cloud storage and bt virus protect on 2 devices.

Topcashback is a hit or miss from my experience

Word of warning cashback is not guaranteed... I just had RAC reject mine with quidco!

Sorry correction meant to say with TCB...

I've had issues with quidco before but never topcashback. They also have a very straightforward claim process. But yes as you say, it's not 100% guaranteed... but I think you'd be very unlucky to miss out on it with a company like BT

I'd say it's about £8 quid worse than this! Plus I think sky is over 18 months?

Thank you for posting!
I'm thinking to switch with them but the price will go up in March, so will this contract too?

many thanks

I have just cancelled my Sky as I wanted Fibre and they said it would cost £88 including my additional tv extra. Are BT any good? We had them around 7 years ago and they were awful, so bad that they released me from my contract after about 5 months with no fee.... This looks like a good deal compared to Sky

beware I find out there would be problem to switch to other suppliers (for simple broadband) after my BT fibre contract, it is so hard to get information from other suppliers how much would it be ? do they treat it as a new line or what? EE just cancel my online place broadband order saying no line there without let me know first (very poor customer service).

would much appreciate if anyone had any idea about that, thanks in advance

Plusnet is 18 months.

I took a new contract with BT but they never honored it so cancelled and got Now TV

I just got this deal from BT in early January, transfer process from EE was easy, transfer happened on the day bt said it would, new router arrived on schedule, unplugged ee router then plugged BT router in and it worked fine. 34mb download 7mb upload. Received £125 Mastercard from BT 3 days ago, topcashback £60 is showing as tracked and confirmed, highly recommended.

Just a head ups I got BT Infinity 1 on Black Friday. Received my £100 MasterCard and £132 cashback from Quidco.

if you pay your line rental all in advance it will save you about 10% on your line rental charges.

it will also lock you in regardless of any further price hikes throughout the year.

I totally agree with you, yes it will, but the price hikes have already been stated for this year and if you are happy with the overall price then why not save another £20. every company now seems to raise their prices mid contract whether we like it or not, seems like we need to get used to it.

I'm looking at this deal now. For the £90 cashbook rate, do we need to sign up for the £3.50 a month free evenings and weekend calls package?

Can't see where it says free weekend calls on mine when I click through?
#24
Seems to be £39.99 Δ /mth..
Am I missing something?
YES I was, You have to click thru TCB.. But isn't the cashback only £80?

The is an £80 and a £90 cashback rate for Fibre + Calls, only £10 for Fibre on its own. So do you have to sign up for calling plan too?
#26
Don't you just hate those deals with "effectively" in them??

Nice, Virgin doesn't work in my area. How did you get that? And does it include line rental?

Yes it includes line rental, its from a corporate team in Virgin who sign up staff etc, but anyone can sign up really if they get their details passed on.

Just this second looking at the USwitch deal. Can you still put through TCB or Quidco though? Also reading mixed views here, which one have I best chance with please TCB or Quidco? Thanks.

Thanks. Think I will go for this. Save messing around with the cash back sites. Comes to 22.49 a month and is 12 month contract, everyone else seems to be 18 months and slower speeds.

I've clicked through from Quidco and it takes me to the deal without going through USwitch so it should be OK. Not sure about TCB though.

The website isn't letting me progress the order though as it's telling me I can't get fibre in my area, despite me having had fibre for years! I've called them and they said they'll look into it, so fingers crossed it gets sorted before the deal ends.

Ah right. Thanks I had thought it was just for uswitch, did not realise that the monthly price had dropped via quidco too.

I've just cancelled my sky cancellation so I can sign up to this deal tomorrow as an active line takeover. Although Sky are calling me back tonight with their best deal to make me stay.....

edit: Slys best offer; 18 month contract, £10 install then £31 a month for 12 months then £38 for final 6 months. BT here we come....

Ha, I got offered £30 a month for 12 months, so when I said the BT offer works out better the agent got pissy and told me he was removing the offer from my account. I hope BT manage to sort out my joining issue, I don't want to have to crawl back to Sky...

Hope they get it sorted for you.

I've just put the order in via quidco and it's showing as tracked at £90 already.

Two weeks until activation/install. Can't wait to get back to faster broadband.
