This BT modem router and USB adapter package is compatible with BT, AOL, Tiscali and other non-cable broadband providers and features a wireless range of up to 250m.

Got one of these myself and find it brilliant. My daughter's laptop picks up a great signal 3 floors up and I can use mine in the garden with no problem.

Normally £94.98 if purchased separately.

Cold can get a Netgear starter kit for £50 from PC World which comes with a wireless router (DG834G) and a wireless adaptor.

Most ISP,s provide a wireless router for free(nothing) Tiscali do a siemens one which as far as routers go is a corker. As for the adapter, you can find these dirt cheap.

Fair comment but what about people who's package came with a wired router? as this was pretty common until fairly recently.

If you have been with your ISP for a year they will give you a wireless router. You have to ask though.

Hehe :)great bargain, but a good range just means I gotta use security :(

Else the students upstairs would all cancel their broadband subscriptions :P

Hehe :)great bargain...:P

bargain? this non-BT ZyXEL combination must be an absolute steal then at £34.78 delivered

or this non-BT Belkin combo at £49.87 delivered

or this non-BT Dlink combo at £51.43 delivered

the thought of this apparent BT bargain is appreciated, but I wouldn't touch BT-branded kit with an extended bargepole. remove the BT branding and I may consider it, but only at half the price. :w00t:
