As per title, grabbed 3 (waits for someone to tell me I'm ruining it for everyone). Don't usually like Bud, prefer RealAle but at this price I couldnt say no. Saw this in Asda Bradford/Bierley, so not sure if nationwide, someone else started a thread saying they saw these in Asda for £10 so may cost more nationwide but £8 in Bradford near the M606

40p a bottle!!

Why is there always so much beer snobbery on threads such as this?

Why are so many people insistent that their taste is too superior to possibly enjoy an ice cold bottle of Bud?

Do 'real' ale drinkers taste buds come with a lack of understanding that some people have different, not inferior tastes?

Good deal by the way. :)

Needs ASDA in-store in the title

Agreed - rep added.

I enjoy real ale as well but can't say no to an ice cold Bud / most other "cooking lager" :whistling:

I agree. I enjoy various styles of beer by various brands, and theres nothing wrong with Budweiser. I like the fruity flavour it has, its refreshing on a hot day. :) Its natural that some people will prefer lager, some will prefer ale, others will prefer light beers.

I've nothing against people saying "I didn't like the taste of this beer", but its completely unnecessary to put other people down simply for their preferences.

lol, this is a very good deal from what I see... Budweiser is not everyone's choice. I like both a good ale and a good lager. Wonder what the "stella only" drinkers r gonna say about this?! I like to drin stella when I'm in a stella mood, bud when I want a nice cool refreshing drink, and an ale of some kind when I'm in an ale mood... So pls, ale drinkers/anyone who doesn't like this deal because it's budweiser ... stfu! ;)

Works out the same price if you get from Tesco at the mo, only if you're going to spend £30 anyway then it's £6 for 15 bottles (40p ea) which is same, depends which store is closer and how much you need that extra 5 bottles!

So I had a couple of bottles of this tonight after buying 3 crates, bloody horrible (not worse than stella and the like though), stopped at 2 thought so my Liver will thank me. Its amazing how taste buds develop and I once thought this was a quality beer

Excellent deal, got one last night. It's normally the 15 bottles that are on 2 for £16 or 2 for £14 so this is a bargain

Why do we always get stupid remarks like this whenever theres a larger post?! Really annoys me, if you don't like it then WHY are you looking at the deal in the first place?! :x

Best deal on buds for a while!

I normally pick it up sup 50p a bottle, so this is a bargain!

I really prefer Mini Buds! With the 330ml bottles I'm always throwing out the ends because they're flat - with the 250ml bottles (or whatever they are) I never have to.

Maybe I just drink too slowly but I'd rather drink at a rate I'm happy with than too quickly

Great price its not what I drink but non offensive good for christmas.

Couldn't agree more. I don't mind admitting that an ice cold Bud is one of my favourite beers, but that doesn't mean I have 'inferior' taste buds!

Why can't people just accept that everyone has their own preferences?

And let's face it, some people clearly like the idea of drinking a less mainstream beer more than they actually like drinking it. Hence the reason they post comments on a thread they're not even interested in, just to let us all know how good they are!

EDIT: Almost forgot amidst my ranting... great deal, heat added

A nice cold bottle of Bud would go down nicely.
#37
Just returned from Tesco, and they currently have a good offer on. If you spend £30 instore you can buy 18*300ml bottles for £6. I couldn't refuse such a deal!!

Was it definitely 18 bottles? It was 15 x 300ml in my local Tesco, thus making it equivalent to 20 x 300ml for £8 in Asda except obviously no minimum spend for the Asda offer.

Sorry it was 15 bottles DOOH. Wishful thinking I think!!
