Do you know if it was only Bud, or some others too (eg Bud Lime)

Its good out of the aluminium bottle, and keeps the beer colder for longer too

I got a couple of these yesterday - and I think they taste better than the bottles. Odd size though (about 4/5th of a pint). Think they're some World Cup special but not bad for a quid.

I think this is because they sell drinks in ounces in America and this is 16oz.

16oz is an American pint. Lightweights.
#8
A lot of barstaff in London must think 16oz is a UK pint too because they keep trying to shaft me with a short fill! Tight beggars!
#9
sorry bud lovers but this stuff doesn't taste good, at all!!!
#10
Can confirm this tastes BETTER than the glass bottle version imo!

Haven't tried but they seemed very popular in Florida.

Notce me up as another who thinks these taste better from this Aluminum bottle. Our local was selling them for £3.99 throughout the world cup...well, I say selling. They sold one at that price, now down to £2.

No complaints here.

over £2 a litre. not worth it for me.
#14

You can't compare supermarket prices with pub prices. That's just silly.

You can get a 4 pack of cans i a supermarket for the price of 1 pint in a pub.

Tastes better in these bottles had them in Vegas.

Is this national?
#22
Aluminium bottle? In other words a can. Shaped like a bottle. And probably still tastes of p***.

Had one of these the other day, and I can safely say it is the worst tasting beer I've ever had in my life! Absolute filith! ;)
#24
These were 3 for £4 so not a bad deal :)
#25
we were drinking these all the time in vegas - i think i'm gonna stock up!! Taste better imho :)
#26
ps - these were 3 bottles for £4.

These are great. As mentioned they are brewed in the USA and taste better. When they were launched the marketing spiel behind them was that they are the perfect size for one half of football! Admittedly they aren't unless you take your time (and why not..) but they do keep it cooler for longer. Hot from me and I'll be stocking up if there's any left.

What beer costs more than £10 a litre in a pub?!

Bud tastes of swill! ;)

These are £1 in Tesco Express, it's better than the glass bottle version. But I have run out of aluminium ones now, so have to start on the glass now ;)

Yes it is. All lagers are beers, but not all beers are lagers.

How can this be hot? Even at £1 it's still too expensive, was going to post this a week ago but thought I'd be laughed out, works out around 63p per 300ml! Hardly hot is it? Morrisons deal is much better so sorry cold from me!
