Exactly my thoughts, what ever was wrong with 500ml. Stick to a size!

Thanks, but I'd rather have a beer.

Unfortunately, as the OP has done, many people compare price per bottle / can without realising that the bottles or cans vary in size. My target is normally 50p per 440ml can or 330ml bottle or less so the OP deal looks like it meets that requirement until you realise the bottles aren't 330ml...

No mistake when I posted this.

- Stella has been 284ml per bottle for as long as i can remember (I checked previous deals and has been this sized bottle for a long time). Example here http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/stella-artois-12-x-284ml-bottles-5-asda-1572432
- Budweiser, fair point. The size seems to have changed in the last year but not that recent e.g, Asda deal 6 months ago was this size.
- I posted the deal as is the best price on bottles across the supermarkets. If you know of a better deal on bottles then please share

Regards

£1.66/litre seems a good price.

18 440ml Bud tins are £13 in Tesco, 18 440ml Stella tins are £12 IIRC. Works out a slightly better deal by a couple of pence lol.

I'm not knocking the deal mate and neither did I say you had made a mistake. Was simply commenting that comparing can / bottle price is flawed due to them being differing sizes - a trick the manufacturers / supermarkets pull to make us think we are getting a better deal than we are.

You were blatantly clear in the OP what size the bottles were so no complaint about that.

Love it when you get beer for 50p can/bottle. However these are small bottles whereas cans are usually 440ml. Therefore not as much as you think. Therefore cold

Great deal for Stella. Not quite sure why anyone would buy American Bud, but if you like the (complete lack of) taste I suppose that's a good deal too. Sadly as with most Morrisons deals, this isn't available in our local "M Local" store.

But beer tastes much better from a bottle (not sure why) so you can't really compare it with can prices.

I completely agree but the £/ml is much better with cans

Pour from can to pin glass sorted ;), I don't really find much of a difference taste wise to be honest. Plus recycling a a pain with so many tiddly bottle to dispose of.

Stella bottles, like most, were always 330ml until a few years ago.

These days I consider anything under £1.50 per litre for 4.8%+ alc beer to be a decent deal.

Lately I've been buying 8 cans of Beck's for £8 from my local Asian general store but at least his ones are the full sized 500ml cans and still 5% alc. Could do with stocking up on a good deal tbh but this particular one isn't that much better than what I'm already getting when you work it out.

Best deal at mom... l guess!

Asda have been doing 15 bottles for £6.67 for months. A much better deal.
