This is an unbelievable price for a 300gb external drive. Blimey !

I plumped for the 40Gb "BNI MediaBox Personal Media Drive" from play.com
for £49.99:
http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/STTS7/3-/877149/BNI_Mediabox_Personal_Media_Drive/Product.html

Yes, it's a fraction of the disc size, but it's far more portable. It's designed
for connecting to a TV for playing music & videos, but also works fine as
a backup device.

CNet gave it an average rating on it's multimedia capabilities, but if you
ignore all these outdated functions, it's a great backup device, and play.com
is selling them at way below the normal price..!

The crazy frog toy I ordered a wee while ago is still on its way. I have to report it as missing

I bought one of these thanks, arriving tomorrow.

Now to sell off the dozens of dvdrws I was using as mini hard drives and recoup some of the costs :)
