Topcashback seem to be offering 20.2% from Bestbuy at the moment, So just ordered one of these drives, fingers crossed it will track OK at the 20.2% cashback, if so I should get it at £35.90 delivered :) Check Topcashback first to confirm for yourself before you order one... They are only offering this cashback for another 3 days...

To get the free delivery you have to wait a week, so be sure to select the next week when choosing your delivery date...

You are not allowed to quote the price after cashback. especially since it appears nobody has ever got the cashback in their actual hands from Bestbuy according to reports, unless anyone knows anything definite ?

I bought this drive from Bestbuy when then were doing 15% Quidco. anthony712 is correct - you're not supposed to include the cashback in the listed price (under the go to deal pic). It has to be the price you pay on ordering.

Voted hot anyway.

I think I have made it pretty clear that it is up to the reader to check and make their own decision, I checked the help before I posted and found no reference to whether to quote the cashback price or not, I'll take your word for it that its not allowed as I cant find it written anywhere and the whole point of the post is to highlight the limited time cashback offer.

Therefore in the interest of keeping the peace, I will try and remove the post...

People are reporting that Topcashback and Bestbuy are tracking OK BTW, quidco seems to have problems on times according to the previous seagate HD offer mentioned on here.

changed price & title to highlight, hopefully this is acceptable

They are tracking OK but do not appear to change to confirm, and it "appears" nobody has ever received any actual cash. So do not rely on the price with cashback

How is the drive BTW SirHugo ? Fingers crossed for the cashback :-) Did yours track OK ?

Bummer... Mind U topcashback can take a month or so to confirm & pass eventually to payable, so will have to wait and see I guess...

No probs - you did the right thing anyway by including the cashback price in the title. I had a Mod come down pretty hard on me for including cashback in the listed price - even though it was guaranteed Panasonic cashback. Most people get away with it - just depends on which Mod reads your post and what mood they're in. (_;)

As I said, I think the rule is to list the price you pay on ordering, therefore codes which give an instant discount are OK. Kinda makes sense.

Quidco tracked within 15 mins. None of my Bestbuy purchases have gone to 'validated' yet.

Can't really comment too much on the drive - bought it to add to a Technisat HD receiver to give it PVR capabilities but had picture freezing problems. Swapped the Buffalo for a Seagate FreeAgent and it was fine.

Now using the Buffalo drive for recording with a Humax Fox T2 and it works perfectly! oO

what about seagate 500gb one at £48.99 then use code sea15 for 15% off comes to £41.64 then get 20% off with cashback dont know which is better drive but seagate comes out cheaper £33.31 after cashback but not good at maths and cashback might not track

chrishogsden. just been to bestbuy... sea15 code didnt work for me

BestBuy are a busted flush. Everyone knows that the cash back will track - but will eventually be declined. They do pay the odd one or two, just to keep the punters coming. CON ARTISTS!

I ordered this drive in the past post through topcashback just over a month ago. Order wasn't tracked, so one week later reported to TCB, and in about two weeks TCB forward my inquiry to bestbuy. Its been 3 weeks and bestbuy still has no reply. So I would say bestbuy is not a good place for cash back claim. I dont have a high hope of getting the cashback now and will not order with bestbuy until my claim is clear. I am new with TCB and I am not impressed with their services, I used to use Quicdo and was ok with them. The only thing is you have to pay £5 annual fee.

All my TCB transactions are tracked and I never had a problem with them.
Best Buy cash back through TCB is supposed to credit by this month end. Hope it will be credited!
