Looks like a misprice..

if you can't see it immediately, look at the right hand side under more buying choices..

Buffalo DriveStation USB 2.0 Hard Disk is a simple solution to back up your important data. The Power Saving Utility constantly monitors data access to the hard drive and automatically redcues power consumption when the unit is idle and the TurboUSB software increases data transfer speeds via USB. The Secure Lock Ware software encrypts and protects your important personal data from theft and unauthorised access and with Auto Power On/Off Function, the DriveStation automatically turns on/off with your Windows PC

No it's not. It's still available at £14.99. Like the OP says in his post. Look on the right hand side for 'other sellers' and that's where amazon's price is.
#22
Showing as £56.99 for me too. I hope those of you that managed to get your orders in have the price honoured :)Thanks for the post

Thanks even if it doesn't work out.

By the hammer of Thor - not a chance they'll honour it - certainly not for 'bulk' orders with this much of a dispatch delay. I've ordered a single solitary unit and have my fingers crossed, but I'm too used to the misprice email from Amazon.

Apparently the law is a bit of a grey area on this one whatever the T&C's say about acceptance of orders. Consumer Direct regard it as false/misleading advertising and that acceptance of your method of payment ie a credit card, as acceptance of the order. When this last happened they told me they'd like to bring a test case - especially when the pricing is noticed (it's flagged due to the no. of sales), then mysteriously the item goes out of stock, only to be back in stock a day or so later at a new, more expensive price.

The analogus situation in the real world is to buy an item, ask the store to 'hold' it for you, leave the premises and then return to be told the item was sold at the wrong price & you can't have it any more.

IMHO it's naughty to cancel - their mistake is their mistake, some you win and all that....
#34
it might work i got a darleck earlier in the year that was priced at £6 and it was upheld and i received it.

So fingers crossed as i only have 1.5gb worth of space left

dude chill! did you go for that 27" computer in the end?

good luck ppl but it's unlikely to yield.

Not worth the effort to put in purchase details for me.

Unfortunately the ops best chance of getting away with this deal was to NOT to share it, I fear. :(
#40
prob wont get it but order places as others and willing to wait.
thanks OP
