I really like these, even more so now the price has dropped! So far the ones I have bought came with Western digital drives fitted, formatted to Fat32 so they are backward compatable with Win98 but it takes just a few moments to reformat to NTFS to get over the 4gig file limitation of Fat32.
Slim and nice looking, quiet and ideal for storing all those video clips and mp3's to save cluttering up your main hard drives.

Product Features: Auto Power On, Auto Backup, Supports USB 2.0/1.1, , 7200 rpm, Preformatted Hard Drive for Out of the Box Operation, Silent Running with a Fanless Design, Unique Heat Sink Chassis keeps Internal Parts Cool, Power Saving Shutdown Scheduling to Preserve Energy, Vertical or Horizontal Operation to Save Desktop Space

Yeah :) Western Digital and it looks good too! Nice one Mike...
Yes Ray, think I'd prefer the extra 90gigs :)

The Buffalo comes with nice long leads to and from the small brick power supply and a long USB lead too.
It has clip on feet so you can use the store vertically to save desk space too.
i own one of these buffalo drives and they are spot on, also another little handy feature is u can set it to power down using the supplied software after a certain time limit
I got one of these a few months back to go with my cheap linksys NSLU I got from staples - no issues and running 24*7 since.

Just one thing to add - its not quite as whisper quiet as I had hoped. Although there is no fan there is a slight hum that I have got used to now.

Thanks for the comments Davey :)

The hard drive is still available at this price.
