I bought the 1 TB version of this for slightly less last year, but I would highly recommend as I've never had a problem with it :) hot!

Almost got this the other day but opted for the WD one that's a couple of pound more, purely on aesthetic grounds, good price tho :)

Does anyone know if this type of hard drive requires a AC power, or does it just run off usb? thanks

Excellent price. Hot!

For anyone looking to go Turbo speed, for less than £6 extra you can get a USB3.0 DIY option from Scan with free delivery for AV forum members.
Samsung 2TB Spinpoint F4 Hard Drive - HDD £62.81
Dynamode USB 3 Superspeed 3.5" SATA External HDD Enclosure £17.96

If you don't have a USB 3.0 port on your laptop, you can get a USB 3 ExpressCard from fleebay for about tenner delivered or a 2 port USB3 host card for you PC for around the same price. For me the speed difference is definitely worth the extra few quid.
