#2
nice - back in stock!
#3
the 320gig one isn't too bad for £80
#4
looks good, trying to decide if i need it now... does it quite fall into the category of 'buy it and maybe it will be useful one day'??

I was very tempted when these were on offer a week or so ago, and I'm still tempted now, unfortunately very skint! This would be perfect for taking photos to show the relatives. I have a big external drive which I backup to, but something small without the need for power would be very handy, and 80GB would be more than enough for photos. Maybe they'll still be on offer when the cash comes in!

Hot!

I am about to show my age!

Is this one of those things that I can just plug into a USB port on my PC and easily copy my photos and other files onto it for safe keeping?

If so, please can anyone advise me if this would be a good one to buy for that purpose?
#7
Just what i've been looking for  Thanks, great price!

Remember that these sorts of drives are prone to failure. By all means use it as a backup but don't ever rely on it as your only copy of data. Best to keep things like photos in 3 different formats/locations to be sure.

Do you have to spend more than £50 to get £5 off and how do you get £6.01 off?
#22
does anyone know of a case to put this into (besides the one amazon recommends) as that looks too bulky

I was looking for something like the standard case you get with the PSP

Or a Big Ipod sock lol (ps they dont fit)

Not sure about the first bit but you only get a fiver off, I think £6.01 needs to be spent to get to £50 for the voucher to work.

Ahhh cancelled the 80gb harddrive listed on here the other week as it wasn't due to arrive until July! Thanks for the great find. It's funny, I cancelled it this morning and said 'I needed one for this week, what a shame, but I hope to find a great deal on here again soon anyway' and then this gets posted a few hours later!
#31

Doubly true if you go with the Maxtor :whistling:

I've just opened up my standard buffalo 80gb drivestation to find out it's a western digital scorpion, which are pretty decent drives, lets hope the turbo is also a scorpion!
#34
do you think this will work on the scan Pioneer DIVX player, DV-400V ? Ive heard the player can be fussy.
