Is this supported by the Tomato Firmware?
#3
You can put dd-wrt or Tomato.

Brilliant price for a spare router. At £5 it would be madness not to keep one in a cupboard!

Great find OP.

This has a built in modem already, you use it in place of your own.

I was too slow. Was showing '53 sold, more than 10 left', I went to check specs, and two minutes later it was sold out :D

Can anyone suggest a cheap alternative?

Yeah and it's so easy to set up that I'm struggling two weeks after buying it to get it working - d'oh

Thanks - how do I tell that in future - is it the ADSL that means it has a modem?

Cheers

Thanks guys. Not sure about Belkin's reputation, but apparently it comes with a lifetime warranty, so all good.

Unfortunately not. Unless someone can prove otherwise?

It's not in DD-WRT's router database...

(all gone now, but anyway...) I'm pretty certain that neither dd-wrt nor Tomato support any ADSL routers. I'm not sure why but I suspect that there's no GPL ADSL modem drivers.

I wouldn't trust belkin with my dogs stick.

I have used several routers over the past few years. Only issue was with a Belkin router. Constant disconnections. Maybe I was just unlucky!!!

I'm happy with Zyxel kit myself.
