Gives extended wireless through your USB. Good if (a) you don't have wireless on your laptop or desktop, or (b) you have wireless but only have 11 b/g.

Wireless N is faster and will cover an extended range compared with b/g. For example, I use one of my laptops on the 3rd floor at the back of the house. With the built-in wireless b/g card I get a patchy 1-2 bar reception that sometimes drops. Plugging this in gives me a steady 4-bars and it doesn't drop. I also use one on a desktop.

mumbojumbo

But it's obviously only of any use (over Wireless G) if you have a wireless-N enabled router. ;)

Of course. Should have mentioned that.

They sold out quick, eh? Glad to have got one.
