I bought every single half season boxset on VHS as they came out at £30 a pop. Makes me sick thinking how much that cost when you can now pick up the entire season in a boxset smaller than one VHS season and for less than the price of one VHS season at the time. Oh well, can't think like that in this market or you'd never buy anything until 10 years after its release :p

Going to pick them up too, not sure if I'll even watch them again but at least I can get all the space in my attic back by dumping the VHS versions (_;)

Mmm, absolute torture.

On balance think I would prefer to sit & watch my Hotpoint do a cool wash cycle .

You should sell on Amazon or Ebay, they fetch a decent price. At the very least they could cover some of the cost of the DVD set.

I have seasons 1-6 on VHS, 11 boxes of 3 tapes, spread across a high shelf. I think they look pretty good so I'll probably keep them. Even though I have them all on DVD now (Asian sets, and 1 UK set), I've considered picking up the two season 7 VHS sets to complete my collection.

Interesting point, maybe I should look to shift them on ebay but I always thought that cost of delivery would be more than the item cost :)

I also have every single episode of Angel in the VHS boxsets so you can imagine the effort of posting out that lot :(
