This is a great buggy. We have it and found it very good on most occasions. The only complaint is changing the direction of the seat, not as easy as they show in videos... Oh, and the price of accessories... Hot find!
#8
We have both the chameloeon and the Bee - and the Bee is far far easier to use!!

Thats a stunning price... almost worth risking a few on ebay!
#9
Surely you only change the direction of the bee once? Have it facing you when it is newborn and then change it when it gets older so that it can see the world?

My (1st) baby is due 20th may and am struggling with the choice out there!

off to JL this afternoon to test it out. And the Sola range at mamasandpapas for those that are looking...looks promising.
#10
Yes, you only need to change the direction once - never had a problem with mine.

Great price, well done.

I have a Bee and Cameleon and personally i prefer my Cam, but the Bee is handy for the car.
#11
great deal! thanks
#12
I have one, much cheaper(clerance) and good quality as well http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/641130/chicco-multiway-stroller-with-footm
#13
Great deal. Bugaboo has really good build quality
#14
Brill buggy and brill price! Got mine last year for £320 from Mothercare after the discount code valid at the time. If you're in two minds, I would say BUY IT! We've never had a problem with ours and it's been around the world too ;)
#15
Good find. Got an I-Candy Peach for our 7 week old. Delighted with it.

Available from JL although they are not "allowed" to sell online.
#16
how small is the foot print of this when folded, we have a ford fiesta so boot space is tight.

I bought a bugaboo bee to fit in my boot which is tiny (Diahatsu Charade - smaller than a fiesta) - was fed up of struggling with a bigger pram, the Bee slides in effortlessly, really pleased with it.

Good offer :) but does anyone ever have offers on the Bugaboo Cameleon? I think £659 is mental money to spend on a pushchair but thats what the wife wants
#19
Very rare to see these reduced by so much! The black with free red hood is out of stock now but there are 7 of the khaki still available at time of posting. The new Bee plus is/was released this month so I wonder if they are going to reduce the other colours too in the forseeable future? heat from me
#20
Wow! Fab deal these buggies are amazing and have a long guarantee!!!
#21
just ordered one in store. looks the the red will not be coming back in stock but the khaki should be back in stock in 3 weeks. she looked on the stock system and it was showing one khaki in stock in reading, no stock else where.

thats just for the basic package. If you add the conectors for the car seat, he ISO fixing for the car, the car seat and the accessories its more like a grand. We got ours for 900 all in which was a really good price. Its light years ahead of anything else though. Its so easy to push and control.

We looked at the bee but we had friends who had one and it had a couple of issues.

You get what you pay for and bugaboo gear is amazing. Their customer service is top notch aswell if anything goes wrong.
#23
Is there an option to buy the blck one and buy the colour canopy of your choice at a later date? I don't know sex of baby yet...

I am unable to find a site that sells canopys seperately, besides the silver sun canopy.
#24
Looks like its out of stock.
#25
I have Bee and Cameleon too, My Cameleon hardly gets used as the Bee is BRILLIANT! great price, I have ordered the new Bee +, pre orders are out next month, more stock in May so I think most old style Bee's will be on offer soon. You can buy different colour hoods from Ebay for about £30. I was hoping to sell my old Bee for about £299 when I get the new one....looks like I won't be getting that for it now!!
#26
Heat and Rep added - ordered Khaki for a friend last nite. She is very very pleased - 3rd pushchair and her baby is only 2 months old, needless to say her hubby isnt to happy with me for pointing this out!
#27
Good price for brand new Bugaboo Bee!!

I test drove these the other day and they are great....

I still cant understand how one could spend almost a grand on pushchairs, but then again when you got the cash you gotta spend it somewhere..

We got the Peach too...considerably better value, although none of this stuff is cheap.

It's 4months old now and looks like new, will easily pass down for the next child.

I have the Cam and honestly, its worth the money!

My hubby was also taken back by the price but once we started using it he agreed it was well worth the money, has many fantastic features + you get all the bits with it AND a 2yr warrenty AND its an awesome, good looking, easy to use pram...

I personally love my Cam more than the Bee but they are in different price brackets and do different things...

I think i paid £670 for the Cam, footmuff, maxi cosi car seat, adaptors and car seat raincover (didnt want this but was in package) oh and a parasol for the pram too. Bargain price for all of the above. It was 2yrs ago tho so not sure what deals are around now.
#30
What's the big attraction to the Cameleon over other prams? We had a "money no object" choice when we bought ours, as it was a gift and went straight for the Cam but didn't like it. In particular we hated the braking mechanism.

What am I missing? Why do people think it's so good?

BTW - Bee owners/buyers should be aware of a potential safety issue with the Bee brakes. http://www.bugaboo.com/75

The Cam is really light weight for such a big system, it comes with carry cot AND seat (normally you have to purchase the carry cot separately) Its incredibly easy to push, even one handed. The handle flips which is really handy in show/woodlands and also at restaurants so baby can sit in the pram upto the table...

If you live in an area with bad snow, the Cam is specially designed for this with its big wheels that move over snow easily.

The break isnt as easy to use as a foot break, but its no big deal... after a month or two it loosens and is much easier to put on/off

The seat is considerably larger than most other prams meaning it will last your baby longer. You can change the fabrics to suit your mood or to freshen your pram up (i have 3 sets)

I could go on and on... I love my Cam for all of the above reasons, i have never regretted buying it, or spending the money on it :-D

The Bee breaks have been sorted now - all new Bee's are fixed and previous customers got the brackets necessary to fix the problem, in-fact, i got two sets lol
#32
Hmmm, not seeing any major wins there over the iCandy.

Why do so many Cam owners also have a Bee? Do they both have weaknesses such that you need to buy both to suit all occasions.
#33
Cant speak for others, but i just really fancied the Bee as well - i use both my prams, the Cam is the better all rounder imho and if i could only have one i would have that... but the Bee is funky too and its nice to have a change.

Also, the Bee is a bit smaller so ideal if the boot is gonna be filled up with shopping or if we are going on Holiday
