For heavens sake! Bunk beds for £60 is a bargain! I'm only going by what the screen says! Think you're just looking for reasons to nitpick!

Instead of being cheeky, read the link properly! Original price was £350!

Got these for my boys last time they were on special - they are NEVER worth £350 LOL!

I have to warn you all though, these are ONE SQUEAKY MOTHERS!! Oooooh, almost drives me insane - the slightest movement on the top bunk and it squeaks all through the house at that special frequency you cannot fail to hear!

:D

Be warned!

It has previously been on sale at £89.99! Was £349.99. Think GoNz017 needs to read things properly themselves!!

Where it says the original price was £349.99, it probably will go back up to that price. I bought a black bunk bed for my son from Argos last year, when it was reduced, and even though it stated a 'previously been on sale for' price, it did go back up to the full value after the offer had finished.

You might want to edit the title and omit the rrp. This deal is good at the sale price. So voted hot.

Without mattresses?? Still a bargain but add on another £50 each for 2 mattresses unless anyone can point me in direction for cheaper

Good bargain, but I'm sure when these have been on here before, the rrp was £199, think they make it up as they go along. The standard proper rrp for these is about £90-£129, but still £60 is a bargain :)

I looked at these yesterday but dismissed them because they have metal slats. As good as the price was they won't last six months with an eleven year olds the slats will bow and he's not that big. Great for little ones though.

Not worth £58 let alone the £89.99... And anyone willing to pay £349.99 for this is just throwing money away!! I had one... All the base bars bent and snapped!!! Argos wouldn't let me return as they say it had been bounced on!! For god sake how can a 3 year old do that kind of damage! Not worth your hard earned money guys x

£350?????????, what were you smoking when you decided to copy a RRP from argos, it was £89.99. Read down the page for the real price next time.

What were YOU smoking when you decided to get so irate over someone quoting a websites RRP?

Not gonna rise to this. Some people are very rude.

Bargain at the price so heat added, but completely supportive of the comments from GoNz017.
One thing I did notice was the fact that the ladder position seems fixed. I have a bunk bed for my Grandchildren and found it very useful having the flexibility of adopting left or right hand fitting when the room was rearranged, so it might be worth keeping that in mind.

Is a good price. Sadly any furniture I have purchased from argos have fallen apart.

Argos & furniture don't mix.

Metal bunk beds. Never work.

Will end in tears...

Nothing, I know argos use RRP to rope in gullible people to buy cheap goods, and a fair few post on here.

The true price is lower down as required by law.

It's one thing to point out you think a website inflates it's RRP's, it's another thing completely to act like a petulant child insulting the OP who is only trying to help ppl by posting a deal. It's totally unnecessary. Grow up.

I bought similar to this from Argos for my daughter, she was around 7/8, and you could hear her turning in bed from downstairs. No matter how tight it was tightened it swayed as she climbed to the top and I sent it back.
#25
Its still a good price. I can't find any on ebay, even 2nd hand, for less than about £80

I bought a similar framed bed from littlewoods but paid £160 including mattress. These types of bed are terrible!! My 6 year old is very slim and the bars bent and actually fell out of the frame. Luckily littlewoods was really good about it and sent me replacements but the same happened again so I made them take the whole bed back and I got a wooden one!
Really not worth the money, save your pennies and time and get a decent frame cause I guarantee you'll be buying a replacement in a few months!

£350 RRP? Hehehehehehehehe.
#28
i brought a similar one few months ago in the sainsburys clearance for £50, it had been posted on hukd, had no problems with mine and kids have slept fine on it

We have ours set up with the ladder on the left hand side, it's pretty simple just to reverse the ends to make this work.

edit: pretty simple when building it, obviously if you want to change it later you will have to take the frame to bits...

Then they should learn how to spot a deal and not a false advertised price.

Get a life you loser! Why do people like you get so irate about the smallest things on here, demanding till receipts, questioning RRP's, etc. good god! The op has pointed out that you can, should you wish, buy these bunk beds for around £60, which is cheap by anyone's standards, but that's just not good enough is it?
I suggest you trawl through the listings on this sight for a good deal on a mirror, buy it, and then take a long, hard look at yourself and the sorry state of your life!

Looks cheap, probably is. Still, can't sniff at £60, assuming they'll work for a while and aren't TOO squeaky...how is it £58.94 though? Is it meant to read £68.94 (i.e. including P+P?)

Review says:

"Cheaply made, rubbish fixings (some faulty, some missing) and has a strange creaking noise whenever someone's on it. However, it was cheap."

You get what you pay for, not voting.
#34
The point of the site, for those that forget is to help each other spot deals. By all means give useful feedback on the product and vote how you feel necessary, but always try to appreciate the effort of the person posting the deal and let's try to be civil. If you can find a better bed for this price then please post that wonder device for us all to admire. Not everyone can afford £300-£400 for a wooden bunk bed and sometimes £60 is all people have. If it squeaks, I am sure there are plenty of inventive ways to stop it doing that

Like many of the executive pay packets are RRPs (ridiculous recommended pay) but realistically they are worth much less.
