Might as well get the 2K bundle for less and get more.

I don't buy bundles so I wouldn't know. I consider all those "be a total tightarse and further shaft developers by offering up 1p for 20 games" a slap in the face for those who've worked so hard and brought me so much happiness. Plus I look at those and usually see about 1 decent game and another 5 I'd never play.

*cough cough* Humble Bundle *cough cough*

Oh excuse me, I really need to get that cough checked out... (_;)

Even if that is true, it was the hottest deal of the day Wed/Thurs, so how could it be logically perceived in anybodys head as a deal right now?

this is the lamest defense of a cold deal ever lol

I gotta admit I looked at it a couple of times and still think it's a good deal regardless of the bundle.

Won't make any difference like it would of done last week but.....Hot

OP, you're a man of real principle who won't slap developers in the face for 1p, but won't think twice about shafting them for 99p.

Humble Bundle is usually a way for developers to squeeze as much revenue out of games as possible. They're hardly getting shafted when they're in on the deal themselves...

I did the maths and voted this cold...double checked and yes cold is correct..minus 200 I think it will break.
#15
Btw, I do sympathise with you. This would have been a great deal any other week.

You don't think the developers enjoy doing these bundles? They earn thousands selling games that most people don't really want, but buy because they're so cheap. No one is getting shafted, other than the people that buy the games and never play them, but that's up to them.

Developers earn a lot of money they would otherwise not get from placing their games in bundles. It has become quite a lucrative business and why there are so many now. It is a shame you didn't see the bundle as this would be a great deal any other week. More games to be added to the bundle yet so best not buying any 2K games at the moment. You should keep an eye on the bundles though as some of them are fantastic.

1p, pfffft I adjusted my contribution so no money went to 2k or humble and plonked it all on charity.

Wasn't there an indie developer that said he made around 10 times as much profit putting his game in a flash sale/bundle than he did when it was at regular price?

As the distribution costs on digital content are minimal, the scope is there to make a lot more money should you choose to severely discount your product.

My thoughts exactly, what a dumb defense
