I used a 40% voucher recently, and I still walked away miffed. The food is really low quality, and their business model seems to be a highly inflated standard price, supplemented by loads of 'bargain' vouchers they flood the market with. The waitress was expecting a code when I came to pay. Does anyone pay full price, I asked. Rarely, she said.

This is an ok price, I guess, but they aren't worth any more than this.

Nice pint of Samuel Adams, though.

Good price, sadly in our local Frankie and Bennys someone goes in with an atmosphere vacuum and hoovers it all up regularly.

You can also go there when half the tables are empty but get told there is a 30 minute wait to be seated.

Never had a good meal in F&B - been 3 times and each time saying it was 'average' would probably be over-egging it.

£5.95 for burger, chips and salad is bargain.... at least it is nicer than my company canteen food which is overpriced.

would that not be because they wont have enough staff on to cover all the tables?

It's a deal, but rubbish burgers.

voucher detail says one voucher per person per burger, so if there were four people they'd need four individual vouchers.

Worth noting.

My local F&B is always quality. Bromborough... well done as others sound crap!

Snap. My Local (Kidderminster) told me at 2pm last Wednesday that there would be a 30-40 minute wait for food... No less than 5-6 tables taken in a 2 storey restaurant...
But the beer is also very overpriced. For our family (of 4) to have a simple main each, 2 sides to share and a drink each, we're normally looking at around £40... Which ain't great. I dare say, I've had better meals at wetherspoons at half the price.

The Garston one is great! Harrow is rubbish though. Shame this isn't for their pizzas too.

Last visit to F&B for me was quite poor. Visited mid week, restaurant was very quiet yet still we waited for nearly 1 hour for a burger.

Sounds a decent price but having read the comments I don't think I'll be giving them a visit. Heat for the deal though. :)

You can also go there when half the tables are empty but get told there is a 30 minute wait to be seated.

People always seem to forget that if a table is booked, other people aren't allowed to sit on it within 1.5 hours of the booking time...

Lol you know that's great value for a proper burger with extras. Just signed myself up.

As others have said, F&B's is rank. Cheap quality food, staff who keep hovering round to make you eat a bit quicker. Overpriced and totally underwhelming. I can't see how they stay in business. I guess it's just easy to dive into one after the cinema or a days shopping. Here's hoping they go the wall and Chiquitos, La Tasca, Girraffe, Cafe Rouge and many other 'casual' dining outlets follow..
#33
do they do takeaway too?

Maybe my standards are lower than other people's but I always enjoy my nearby frankie and bennys (Castleford, Selby and Hull) especially the cheapo lunch menu. So I'm definitely up for this burger deal!

Last time I went, I ordered a steak.

I asked for it rare; it came chewy? And it was slightly purple inside too.. oO
