Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360)- Ubisoft Video Game

Good price for Burnout Paradise, but Assassins Creed gets dull and repetitive quickly so if you are going for one or the other, go with Burnout.

Am playing burnout paradise @ the moment.. its LURVELYYYYY

was better on PLAY last weekend with the playlive 5% off and £24.99...
#5
possibly still a better deal on play for quidco members 4% back on £24.99 compared to nothing with Amazon.

Excellent game, the team behind it have announced atleast one free downloadable island is going to be added soon!!! oh yes! :)

Edit : My bad, play have pushed it back up to £40!

DO NOT BUY!
Worst game ever!
The developers sould be lined up and shot for this b*****d creation of a so called burnout game.
The franchise is virtually unrecognisable from its revenge racing greatness, avoid like the plauge!
#7
I think its awesome game....thats the only reason why I am voting hot!

Seems a good price, but probly find a better easter offer over the weekend

Brill game... i bought it in sainsburys for about £22 a while back when they had the 20% off offer & staff discount :-D - Brill price though, and super game... very addictive!

Avoid like the plague??? What a joke! The review are consistantly good. I'd say this guys opinions need to be avoided like the plague.
Its a great game and I have played all of the other burnout games too. Anyway don't just take my opinion or another forum gimps opinion, check here.... http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/burnoutparadise

I thought the same for the first couple of hours - Til I realised that Burnout Paradise is an absolutely superb game
The only thing I miss are the epic pile ups in previous games, everything else is improved upon and the online elements are dangerously addictive.

Are you kidding me???!!. I've been a big fan of all the burnout games through the years and this one is the best so far. I'd say its maybe not so much fun if you don't have Xbox live but online it's THE most fun I've ever had with a driving/racing game!. I love the online challenges and freedom you have to just drive/mess about with friends/random gamers. Its also pretty cool how when you takeout another driver they have their reaction photo taken and displayed on your screen (same goes if you get taken out). Its nice to see the Burnout developers do something a little different/new otherwise it would have been just another Burnout game. Loads of fun and well worth £25 .

I've heard that if you've played the other burnout games that this one may not impress you.....

HOWEVER, I'm one of those that hasn't played any of them, and to be honest I really like this game. But then I do tend to prefer racing games that give you free reign over the city and not restrict you a linear track.
This is like TD unlimited, except you don't get punished for smashing up other cars, in fact it's encouraged :w00t: .

I was going to buy the camera, and now you've told me that when I play this I'll have the camera pointed at my naked nads, I'd like to see peoples reaction to MY reaction  .

worst game ever, agreed!

Quality is a matter of opinion, and should not affect the fact that the price provided is cheap / the cheapest available. The Heat-metre is there for that reason alone, not to review the actual product.

Have to say that was a very funny review...

Kind of reeks of a person who just isn't very good at racing games.. yes it gets hard, yes you crash.. its a game.. thus a challenge. :w00t:

He seems the kind of person that would complain that buying it from amazon is not on as he doesn't like the look of their type-font. :-D

I've played all the Burnout games, and I absolutely love this one. If all you want are tiered events like Burnout 3 or Revenge... then play Burnout 3 or Revenge! It's all about the online free-roaming stuff, the challenges in particular. There are 350 to complete, in groups of 2 to 8 players. It's totally absorbing, and one of the most satisfying online experiences out there.

Good on EA / Criterion for taking things in a different direction.

Im playing it atm and its a wicked game, so much to do. Ive been playing 5 hours and only 11% complete.

Love Revenge, Can't seem to enjoy Paradise.
I miss the structure of the old games, this feels like GTA with no on-foot action, and it feels all washed out too :(

Pity the fool...
The structure is entirely wrong, yet the community spirit is quite unlike that in any other online racer. Complete change... yet all the better for it.

All games are going towards the GTA way of doing whatg you like. Becuase so many love it this way. I think its great.
#26
shame its not this on ps3, still good though
#27
I managed to get a PS3, Burnout for £16 hehe from woolworths. The PS3 console was £239, as my girl works at woolworths 20% discount hehe.
