Should I state the obvious and mention that Quidco should not be included in your price?

Seems like an OK deal - not earth shattering, but voted hot.

Haha. Or "Yes, of course I'm looking for work...would you kindly reinstate my free beer money...sorry, I mean, er, Job Seekers Allowance now please?"

Burton suits are very well made, £22.95 is one hell of a deal.
#15
I have this jacket but I got it one size too small.... honest, it's not that it can't fit around my middle. :P

Very nice jacket, looks very good (if it was to fit haha)
#16
Slim fit? No chance......:p

Self Stripe? - can you decide how wide you want the stripes to be then?
#18
guy in the photo bought it too small, or he has ape-length arms!

I've tried buying suits from Burtons sales 3 times, and every time the jacket turned up with no trousers (as ran out of stock) - pain in the ass as you then have to send the lot back!
#20
no trousers in stock anymore online. Expired? May be available instore.
#21
I hope you are aware that the deal is on the jacket only. There are no matching trousers.

Everything is relative - it depends on what you are comparing them with, but I personally would never say Burtons suits are well made - can you qualify that? The sizes are irregular, the fitting is awful. If you mean the stitching holds up and it doesnt fall apart, I guess that's a bonus, but if it doesnt fit/hang correctly that's probably why - no one wears them long enough to test that claim out!

Plus, remember, this ISNT a suit - its a JACKET ONLY, so its somewhat more than £22.95 if you want a suit AND if you can get troos to match (pretty useless this without troos me thinks). .:whistling:

If on a budget I would personally wait for an M&S sale where I have purchased several SUITS in the past for < £40. Not saying they are high end in any estimation, but my experience tells me they are at least 2 levels up from typical Burton suits of the past.

Still good of the OP to post though if it helps some folks.

Funny how opinions differ, I spend a lot of money on suits and I think Burton suits are the best value for money versus quality that I have bought to date. They are actually very well cut and the fit is good (I am slim build and tall) for me at least and they also have a lot of detail.
On the other hand, every M&S suit I have bought which costs twice as much as the Burton suits has gone back because the quality just didn't cut it for the price. I would say talking from experience that Burton's actually give TM Lewin a run for thier money in terms of cut and quality.
As for the comment about the short sleeve length, that length actually seems right because the shirt cuffs should be longer that the suit sleeves.

Youve got to admit though, that model does look like a right gimp with the sleeves that short! :-D
