Just a warning regarding the latest argos voucher thing (Sorry not meaning to hijack original post) but my sister went into Argos today and spent £110 knowing she would get the £20 voucher as advertised. She was pretty gobsmacked when told that the deal is you do get £20 but its in the form of £10 off goods in Nov and £10 off goods in December!Surely this has got to be against what they advertise?

got a hannspree full hdtv from ebuyer for 169.99... a lot cheaper than this

Actually I think it is on the small print in their advert on TV.

Pretty sneaky though, as it does imply you will get a normal £20 voucher for use anytime

I took up a similar offer i think a couple of years ago when they first did this and they just gave me a credit card type gift voucher with £20 on it so thought it was similar.Didnt see the small print on the advert but ill look out for it next time.Well spotted!

i got an LG full HD LED tv 22" for £140 much better price than this. not awful tho.
#10
cold - much better around for that price

I have just ordered a Kenmark 22" lcd freeview from Ebay for £120 free p/p. The reviews are all great and the picture quality is fantastic apparently because the contrastt ratio is 1000 as opposed to 800 which most smaller tvs seem to be. The one posted has the higher figure but its too expensive. Mine arrives tomorrow so fingers crossed :o

How is this hot, I got a 22" LG 1080p with something like 60:000 contrast with a 5 year warranty for 189.00 and people vote that cold.

Then I post a netbook that had amazing specs, cheapest around, 3gb ddr3 memory dual core for 280.00 and people vote that cold.

I had a Bush and it was the worst picture I have ever seen. This site has gone down the PAN

To all the posts above, none of the TVs that others are claiming are better value use LED backlighting like this one does...there is a difference

Please do your research. All LED TVs are backlit LCD. It's just the way of illuminating it.

Thanks Rugman. You seem to know your stuff. An LCD for the prices mentioned - fair play, but if they're not LED backlit, you can't compare them.

Fair enough. If that's your budget, you've probably got a good price for that, but they're not comparable. It's smaller and not LED backlit, but still a decent price for a 22" lcd.

Any chance of a link? I don't mind having a 2" smaller screen, but the best 22" LED (with full HD) is only £10 cheaper.

Was it LED backlit? If not, that's not a great price.

and why is it expired? I can still order one.

hey kebabthief, unfortunately it seemed to be at that stupidly low price for a matter of hours from when i saw it. I managed to order it and within an hour it went up back to the price of over £200 i was going to post it but it was too late.

It's still £199.99 when I look at it. Any chance this can be unexpired, as this is a ridiculously good deal?

i was talking about the LG one that i ordered not this one lol

Ah, I get you. Was that 22" or 24"? I'd rather go for LG over Bush obviously and I'm not too bothered about the size difference. At this stage, I'm still going to go for this as it's bigger than what I wanted, and if it's cack, I'll take it back (no poetry intended).

Thanks. I'm probably going to go for this one for the novelty of having a bigger screen. I'll always be able to return it if the picture is no good.

AH. The LG also is not Full HD, which is a must for me considering that I'll be primarily using it as a monitor.

this is odd if you look at the Argos website it is £199 but if you ring to try and reserve one it says todays price is £229 or £249 (cant remember which now)

I've just picked mine up for £199. I had the other one that I posted (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/hannspree-25-full-hd-1080p-lcd-tv-1/790715) as a backup plan if this one was no good.

I've just set it up, and it won't be going back. I'm very happy with the picture quality and it displays 1080p over the VGA cable with no problems. The picture quality is every bit as good as the F&H one I bought from ebuyer.

I was a little wary with it being a budget brand, but I'm well chuffed and would recommend it. :)

Hi kebabthief, thanks for the info

You're welcome. If it would have been pants, I'd have owned up and said so.

It's still going strong and I'm really happy with it.

The BEST thing about this TV and it's not mentioned on the site is that it can not only play stuff through the USB stick but also record onto it. I can't understand why they wouldn't mention that because it's an awesome feature for someone who doesn't have a VCR or HDD recorder (like me). I was completely pleasantly surprised that it could do this.

Seems pretty hot for a 22-24" range LCD LED Full HD backlit TV right? Any downsides to this compared to similar TVs?
