Must warn people ordering from Argos just now. Due to the "severe" weather conditions they may cancel your delivery, put it forward a few weeks and not let you know this till the day before it was due to be delivered at 8pm.

Not the best offer for a TV like this - not 1080p, 50Hz and a low contrast ratio

Seen much better
:(

That was odd, could have sworn it said 1080p when i listed it, had a look back at the deal page and no mention. Have changed the listing title. Probably right about the gaming, might do for the more mature viewer though.

Just had a look back on the ebay homepage, link to deal there clearly says full 1080p hd, but nothing on the argos outlet page.

Admittedly I wouldn't personally buy a Bush 32" at this price (no known picture engine unlike branded stuff) and certainly 720P sets such as the likes of Toshiba have been posted before for around this price, which are much better, but currently you are not going to find 1080P sets for this sort of money.

to those that don't think it's a good deal, please could you point me to another 32" LED TV for around £240?

It is not an LED TV (Certainly not a slim OLED TV) it is a LCD TV with an LED Backlight instead of the more traditional CCFL (Cold Cathode Flourescent Lamp)

Sorry, it's not an led tv. However, similar bush tvs on argos main website have +100 5 star reviews. There is currently one with integrated dvd for £249 which may be a better deal...

For £215 for a LED Backlit LCD TV this is a good price, LED Backlighting offers improved black levels, preventing the usual area light bleeding you get from conventional CCFL backlighting which does not have accurate coverage.

However, LED backlighting is more important on larger screen tv's and I have said this before with any cheap LCD TV, there is more to the TV than just the LCD Screen, there is the video/scaler board integrated which feeds the LCD the image, the major manufacturers all have their own processing technology for picture enhancement, Sony Bravia, Philips PixelPlus, Toshiba Regza, LG XD Engine, Samsung DNIe etc etc....

What does the Bush have...no one knows.

For a little,by todays standards, flatscreen this is a good deal.Only b-ray play higher def than this can display and you would need to be sitting 10 inches away to see difference.100hz is pure blag when tv transmissions aren't even that.

"Seen much better" -try posting then or else people will think you are full of smelly brown stuff.

For £215 with LED backlight this is definately a hot price. I still would rather wait till we se a decent brand drop to this sort of level. THink it might happen once integrated FreeviewHD is the norm, sets without may take a hit to clear stock
#17
Just noticed that half the stock is gone, approx 100 left.

Wont accept voucher code...stating its not valid for this item!
