If you just want this for sky then you might aswell look around the car boots for a old sky box as you can get them for anything from about £5 - £10

I think you still need a freesat from sky card, think they are £20 from sky if you buy an old box

had two of these from argos. Not brilliant. Feels very cheap and could not get a lot of the channels. I ended up getting a second hand sky hd box instead.:)

I have one of these and it's been great. Just hooked it up to the satellite dish already installed in the flat and away it went. You can add a few extra channels using the manual tune feature and the channels listed at http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html It is more geared towards the "freesat platform" though and there is no epg on non- freesat channels. You can't get any of the channels encrypted by Sky so that's no Virgin 1, Dave, and a few others you might expect to get on freeview terrestrial.

Don't see why anyone would bother with freesat hd when you only get 2 hd channels at present.
