Just a shame its Bush....wouldnt have that in my home if it was free :giggle:

Yea, not that good a deal tbh. 32" can be widely had for around £350.

Voted cold - sorry.

Bush or not is a personal choice... Thought this is a ok price for 37" HD Ready TV :)

I have to agree with the above comments about BUSH TV's. I have had a 26inch model and 32 inch LCD from Argos both broke down within 3 months of having them and after several engineer attendances to repair the TV's I got a full refund and got a more expensive Samsung LCD.

There are far better 37" LCD's out there, check out any threads on the Hannspree tv's which can be picked up between £450-500 delivered depending which of the two models you opt for.

Deal voted cold for me, because regardless of Bush's reputation or not, a 600:1 contrast ratio must mean this is a very old panel, that is so low by todays standards, the picture image cannot be that hot.

Can get a lot better deals on 37" tv's out there for that money if you hunt around. Hannspree getting very favourable reviews and having a 1000:1 contrast.

This is a good price for a 37 inch but if it's your first set then you will be disapointed with the overall quality.

If you can afford another £100 then I can personally recommend this set http://www.digitaldirect.co.uk/products_moreinfo3/index.asp?product_id=12650

I have one in my lounge and loved it so much I bought one for the bedroom.

If you're looking at a cheap LCD then remember one thing 'if you pay peanuts, you will get monkeys' and you don't want your mates coming round seeing monkeys sat in your lounge - do you?

Got it from play.com with a toshiba dvd upscaler for £649

personally I do not think this is a very good deal for the following reasons:

VERY low contrast ratio
1 x hdmi connection
design of tv
lack of response time figure
price

If you consider the new samsung 32" with 5000:1 contrast, 3 x hdmi and modern design is available for a very similar price using codes/quidco - is the extra 5" on this set really worth it? (NO!)

You cant beat a bit of bush ! Damn wrong forum hehe :-P

I purchased this tv a mth ago and am not very happy with it at all it already has 3 dead pixels they are taking it back friday and i am paying more and getting the samsung i originally wanted .great price but now agree you get what you pay for .

Well, i must admit its not THE absolute best deal around at the mo, but I must say generally Ive never had any problems with Bush / Alba TVs. My Bush 32 inch LCD came from Argos 18 months ago and not had a single problem, no dead pixels and it sound fine. In fact just paid 139 quid to ebuyer for a 19 inch alba lcd tv for the bedroom. That mightnt be all singing all dancing, but its only to hook up to an old sky digibox and alba dvd player. And regarding the large screen, the bush picture is really far superior to a relatives Philips that cost twice as much. Only my opinion. Voted Hot.

Personally Id go for he Samsung 32" R88/87, yeah its 5" smaller (hahaha...) but Samsung make the best LCDs in the business (they make Sonys screens for them!) and it costs the same.

Hmm, sounds like complete BS re: samsung making screens for sony.

For starters, AOC recently signed a deal to produce screens for lower end (below 32") screens for both Phillips and Sony.
