These look really cool!!! buy at IWOOT at £14.99 but apply discount Use code O2TUS5PP to get a £8.50 off (thanx to HUKD the gooner). Once order processed it will charge delivery . will work with other item but can only be used once (orders over £10)
But alot of users usinng this code are actually not getting charged delivery (thanx to gooner) so u may actually get this for £6.50!!!!!!! Pls wait to see ur despatch email as ur order confirmation will have delivery charge but despatch should have no delivery charge, just the £8.50 discount!!!!! Even with delivery charge this is still a bargain!!!!!

There's nothing that conjures up memories of a youth spent frolicking in the countryside like a butterfly in a jar, and this super-realistic imitation is a real charmer. All you have to do to wake it up and get it flapping around is tap on the top of the jar. One tap will get it going, two will make it flutter and three will make it flap about all over the place. It's a great little ornament to have around the place, ideal if you want to feel like a giddy child again or if you've got a giddy child of your own to give it to.

The main selling point is, obviously, that it's an awful lot more effective than donning a khaki suit and buying a butterfly net, and a great deal more animal-friendly than trapping a real one. Beautifully designed and surprisingly realistic once it starts flapping around, the Butterfly Jar is a really charming gift.

Features:

•The Butterfly Jar contains an imitation butterfly.
•Tap the jar to see the butterfly fly around.
•One tap to wake it up, two to make it flutter and three to make it flap.
•Incredibly realistic butterfly flying action.
•Makes a charming gift for nature enthusiasts.
•An awful lot more environmentally friendly than trapping a real butterfly.
•Requires 3 x AAA batteries (included).
•Suitable for ages 5 years +.

Been looking for one of these for a while but never thought they were worth paying £20 for, but at £10.45 I've ordered one as it looks like a great deal - Cheers OP!

It charges £3.95 for delivery.

Delivery charged on my statement.

do you mean bank statement?

The OP is right about the delivery... when you go through the checkout it will charge you the £3.95 delivery, however once they despatch your order the email invoice shows a less amount minus the delivery charge and your debit/credit card isn't charged the delivery cost... and if you view your order the code is stated as £5 off and free delivery.

take a look at the mse thread here

can't guarantee that delivery will be taken off all orders though... but it seems to be the case so far.

also take a look at these HUKD threads... here and here

Awful crap. Will encourage children to put lots of insects in to jars and.......leave them there to starve to death or bake on hot windowledges. 'Makes a charming gift for nature enthusiasts' pfft.
#15
But why not just buy a cheap jar and put a real one in then let it go after an hour or so.

Whats the point in this as just get bored of it after a day?
#16
Definately sounds like crap!

The code is for O2 customers only, if you use the code they will cancel the order, as I have used the O2 codes before and they email you and say that you should not use the code.
#18
To make money? ^^
#19
so what exactly is an O2 customer...? I assume you have at least the a mobile phone?...I'm sure anyone who wants one must know someone on o2

Codes are for limited buyers - you may/will get charged full price if the code wasn't meant for you?

Mine has gone to awaiting dispatch all the time then they just cancelled the orders.

Thank you for placing your orders with us. Unfortunately, as our promotion is only open to top up customers of O2 and is then only valid once for each such customer, we have cancelled your orders. No payment has been taken from your account.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to see you shopping again with us again soon.

Many Thanks,

The IWOOT Customer Care Team.

if you see the origial post a couple of week back this is a typo of the 02 code not the o2 code, someone put it in error on the IWOOT site and subsequently posted the result actual o2 code is 02TUS5PP
poster stated instead of an 0 I accidently inputed a O
O2TUS5PP

Without wishing to be a killjoy, I have to agree with the above. Buy a Buddleja and a child's garden chair instead. Hours of pleasure and excitement.

These are so cool. Nearly purchased 1 a week ago from the gadget shop but held off because of the price at £20.00.
Thank you for your great post.X)

from pesonal childhood experience 10 bumble bees in a bottle far surpass this gift as indeed do three grasshoppers in a spiderweb. Just let your kids explore in the garden its better for them.

this deal is on Grabitnow but is £14.65..
