A similar deal was posted a few weeks back when these glasses were buy 1 get 1 free ..... now buy 1 get 2 free.

Add 3 pairs of bench glasses, and choose lenses, then enter "52bel" in the promotion code box, and 3 pairs of glasses for £39!

Just ordered 3 pairs myself

also i got an email after i finished my order saying:
" Just a quick email to advise that we also have a special offer currently available for the ANTI-REFLECTION AND SCRATCH RESISTANT COATING. The coating is usually £19.00 per frames however for a limited period only we are offering both coatings as a BUY ONE GET TWO FREE"

Only about 3 decent pairs between whats to offer, but hot non the less. Needed new glasses, high street optitions were asking between £60 and 90£ at the cheapest, and that was just for new lenses!
#2
Cheers for this, cud do with some new ones.. Thx
#3
this should be gettin hotter than this considering the buy 1 get 1 free went over 200, so this should get flaming imo.
Also, anyone any idea about eye prescriptions? just a quick question in the off chance someone may answer me lol
So i was looking at my prescription and my right axis says 10 and my left says 162. Would this be right or a typo? Just seems too big of a difference to be right me thinks?
#4
My right was 100 and left was 45 if that helps. I have no idea what it means though sorry.

Thanks, will take a look
#9
does it mean all the pairs should be the same?
#10
Do they have to be the same, or can I get a pair for me, pair for my wife, different prescription?
#11
The axis on the prescription is the directional aspect of the cylindrical lens (which is just techno-speak and not important to know about), One eye at 10 and the other at 162 seems perfectly normal to me.
#12
Good deal! I might order tonight.

Are 'bench' normally ddecent quality glasses? I mean- better thatn the £5 ones from selectspecs.com?

I work in optics, axis are indiviudal for each eye and it is perfectly normal to have such a difference, it won't be a typo

Anti reflective treatment is especially useful if you do a lot of night driving or use a computer alot. It reduces thew halo effect caused by artificial lighting and reduces the chance of headaches.

it is also great for cosmetic purposes as it makes your eyes more visible through the lenses, and if a picture is taken it will not have that annoying solar mark that sometimes occurs.

Ok its needs to be more clear, It's only on the Bench offer frames NOT normal bench frames
#19
Thanks, Ive just ordered some..

Im not sure if this is a silly question though :| But I ordered without the cases (we have so many already).. Will they still be packaged ok, or should I just have chosen 3 cases as extra protection in the post!??
#20
Take it if you needed thin lenses you'll have to pay for this three times?

just added 1 pair of bench glasses with thin lenses and anti reflection coating, came up to £94 and then used the 52bel code. It gave me a £78 discount making the glasses £16. Thought its too good to be true but i still checked out with paypal and the payment went through and i got confirmationSo i've purchased designer glasses with extras for only £16. See if i recieve them now!

I did this too, they called me a couple of days later saying that the code was used incorrectly and I had to order all 3 frames otherwise they wouldn't process the order
#36
receieved mine yesterday, and to feel them, you would know they are cheap glasses...but i suppose, what would expect from 3 pairs for £40.
All 3 came in hard cases, 2 white, one orange with http://www.speckyforeyes.com printed into them :p

Entered my prescription details correctly into the site and received a pair of frames with clear glass in. Checked and double checked prescription details.

You get what you pay for. Don't take chances with your eyes, go to the high street where you and your prescription can be checked.

What you on about? If the prescription is wrong then just ring them and get them to resolve the problem! :|

As long as your prescription is recent then there is no issue ordering glasses on the internet. My opticians wanted £450 for frames and lenses and yet I am getting THREE pairs for £180!! Yeah course I'm gonna go and buy them in the High Street!
