Looks like £100 is possible...

This was posted before but was moved to misc i believe

Can't believe that people are actually falling for this promotion!!...the makers of the pen will have ensured that not ALL the ink will be released so that the "cartridge" is never totally empty (which is the qualifying factor for the £10 reward)
#9
....minus the cost of an elastic band to bundle ten pens together while i scribble giant spirals until they're all empty........

Doodle Doug the scribbly scrawly creepy crawly, helps you create amazing drawings for you to colour in and keep! Choose a pen, select a pattern and get Doodle Doug drawing! Watch him spin and spiral as he creates over 100 different patterns! You can use up to 5 pens at once to create fantastic multi-coloured designs. :-D

Batteries required: 2 x AAA

Dont count the evenings here, free time, once i have washed the pots and kids, got them put away and in bed, kicked the cat and fed the dog!

has anyone ever tried to get a biro to run out? surely it cant take 50 hours? i wouldnt know cause i always lose them or chew them well before they get close to running out
#21
Could always stick a pice of wire down the inside of the pen and drag out most of the ink, leave it to settle overnight and run the last bit out by hand!

I dont think so either I have one with a drop of ink left and i swear i dont have enough to write to believe i have used that for 50 hours i think someone lies :?

Oh and i want to do this now as my personal challenge lol
#23
Ten in one go is hard as they don't all touch the paper, unless your hand is perfectly flat when you scribble. But I did three in one go and finished them within 24 hours, just scribbling when I had a spare 5 minutes, such as waiting in the car to pick my girlfriend up from work or waiting for the kettle to boil.
#24
all you need is a nice new white shirt, put it in top pocket and it all just leaks out
#25
It's one pen per household for individuals

tip: If you use an A4 sheet, you won't have much white space left ;)

h.To be deemed ‘eligible’, the BiC® Cristal® Medium ball point pen sent with the Form must adhere to the following criteria:
i.The inner cartridge must be intact and not tampered with in any way.
ii.There must be NO ink left in the cartridge.
iii.The pen must NOT be able to write when tested.
iv.The outer casing, nib, ballpoint and top of the pen must all be intact and not tampered with in any way and must not be chewed.

that could be a problem for me...

I can't help feeling the spirit of the competition is getting a little raped... :?

GREAT DEAL if it works thank you
#31
If someone makes a ton out of this I'll laugh and applaud them.
#32
I've never used a full pen, either lose it, break it, or it stops working before its half empty!

im sure most of you gave friends and family that you can send them to?

I think this might just be worth a go... i've got 11 neices and nephews, plenty of free paper at work :whistling: could make a few hundred quid here

Tesco is a rip off. In Staples last Saturday, I got 2 promo packs of 10 black pens, BOGOF!:) And for £2.49, 51p cheaper than Tesco! I'm going back for two more, if they are still on promo.

Happy Shopping at Staples!
