I am not sure but it may take O2 sims due to tesco using O2 as there network provider.

Be good as a back up phone
#3
It won't take an 02 sim if it's locked to tesco.

I'm very confused...it says for deal of the day, add Airtime first, but also says the Airtime cannot be bought seperately!! So there's no buy button. Marshallka?

First you add the phone to basket at £19.97 then go to view basket. At the bottom of that you will see add ons. click view add ons and at the side is the opportunity to add the £20 airtime. after you have done this it should have applied all the discounts for you. get back if you are struggling.

still £5.00 cheaper than standard top up and free phone for spare as well

Mine is for my grandfather, Long battery life, big buttons and easy to read screen. That's all the features he needs
#15
Carphone Warehouse do a good deal too.

£9.99 for the phone (Provided you buy £10 Airtime) =£19.99

I bought mine on Virgin

Firstly the Phone was Unlocked

Secondly The Sim that came with the phone already had £5 loaded onto it

Got £2 Credit for regestering the SIM online.

So After the 8 day wait for the £10 to be added to the SIM from CPW I had the unlocked phone And £17 Credit all including P&P.

I have this problem too! :x

You can buy a giftcard instore and then pay with that online.

Many thanks, I couldnt get this to work directly from Deal of the Day... but went via quidco PAYG to the phone, added the credit first and it did the rest automatically :D

Don't know anything about this phone but was a v good deal...voted hot!
#29
I know that Phones 4 U were doing it instore for £9.99+£10 (For Topup)

But can't say if the extras that I got with CPW would come with it.

I like the phone. Really good sound quality, and great battery life.

Really good for weak signal areas too.

Display is a type of Electronic ink. (Basic old school LCD) Not even dot matrix. But amazingly clear, and the brighter the light the clearer the display.

Really clear loud voice prompts.

Not really goo for texting at the display is only 8 charicters across, and NO T9 (Predictive Text)

Just a little warning to everyone, I had a bit of a fiasco when oredring this deal (Nokia 1112) last time http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showpost.php?p=993962&postcount=68

Ended up getting a £25 cash card from the CEO tho, so not all bad :)
#33

Brilliant thanks, unfortunately my son was mugged last week and the robbing ba*****s stole his phone so this will do as a stand in till Santa comes...

Great deal. I have ordered one via quidco. My expererience with PAYG phones from tesco is that they do not track, so probably won't get the £6.
#38
Montanafish - How can you say it's terrible if it's never been out of it's box.....

Exactly what I was going to say. Very rare to see someone report getting the £6 for this, you'll probably get 3% if you get anything. Might be better to go via rpoints and do a manual claim for £3.
